It’s 3 AM – Nobody’s home

It’s been 48 hours 3 days since Standard and Poors downgraded the US credit rating.
On Friday the United States lost its coveted AAA credit rating. Credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s downgraded the nation’s rating for the first time since the U.S. won the top ranking in 1917. 18 countries now have a better credit rating than the US.
Barack Obama has still not released a statement.

Not surprised. .heard that the TOTUS is still recovering from a hopping party in the Rose Garden Thursday night. . very hard being his Teleprompter. . . especially for this idiot.
TOTUS doesn’t know what to say. . . a reduced credit rating and a tumbling stock market were not the HOPE and Change Americans thought they were getting when Obama was elected.
Stephana commented:
He doesn’t have enough of an IQ to formulate a response on his own. He has to wait for the Demonrat pundits to load up his Teleprompter with the days talking points.
@dandelionmist commented:
why do you want him to fail…he he fails at his job
Our country loses and the soldiers and their family
pray for him ..if he does well..it benfits us

Not sure but I think he’s staying at Camp David and golfing this weekend. Jay Carney can’t respond because he’s the designated caddy and ball cleaner this time out. Priorities are priorities, and he is the POTUS, don’t you know.

It’s the Tea Party’s fault

Obama and his advisers haven’t figured out how to spin this. There is a lot of political calculus involved and everything between now and the 2012 election must be taken into account. The nightmare scenario for Obama is a second downgrade. But his dilemma is how to avoid a second downgrade without alienating his base or Republicans. It may take another 24 or 48 hours to figure this out. I expect a couple trial balloons to be floated tomorrow before the Plouffe loads the teleprompter and Obama reprises his vaudeville act.
gus commented:
BillsBig. I’m quite sure Carney is washing Opies balls this weekend.

For all you teabaggers awaiting a statement: Barry shot 92 today with 4 mulligans. It was too hot to play the back 9.

Thats because he is celebrating.
He has a birthday to celebrate, plus the Navy SEALS were killed by his buds
( the taaaaaaleeeebaaaan)
and then S&P downgrades our country….dude can’t catch a break from celebrating.
Its been a good ramadan so far

In addition to all of the reasons for no comments from Obama, he has his smear merchants working overtime. When there is enough mis-information, deflections, and shooting of the messengers to obscure the ramifications from the debt downgrade, Obama will get on national TV and lie, lie, lie. Of course he will blame it all on Bush, the Tea Party, and republican congressional leaders.
