If the Republicans manage to cut off the funding that supports Obama’s habits, we could reduce the debt by trillions of dollars. The sooner we fire Obama the sooner the debt crisis goes away.

The way I see it, the Republicans have nothing to lose by digging in and refusing to budge on the debt ceiling. The Dems may play the blame game in 2012, but if we raise the debt ceiling, and keep the cash flowing, it’s certain that Obama will have a huge financial advantage for the next year. Cutting off the cash minimizes that advantage. I’d take a chance on public opinion a year from now, rather than let Obama spend the next year buying votes with our tax dollars. Who knows … at the rate he’s going, the public may have several other far more compelling reasons to oust him by then. Plus, it’s going to be hard to blame our economic problems on Republicans when most of America knows who really caused them…

Only thing they need to do is both come out and quote how he scared the old people. Then tell them the money is there, so if they do not get their checks, it is because OBAMA told the treasury not to pay them. Tell them he is spending it on something else. Tell them he gets to decide if he will or will not pay them. That’s it. Need do nothing else to win this one if OUR ELECTED big boys would find the guts to put their faces on TV.

I think that all you commentators are missing the point: debt default is Obama’s goal.
Look, anyone who has studied Obama’s career knows that he has been a member of the hard left, working to overthrow the capitalist system all his life. Buy “Radical in Chief” by Stanley Kurtz if you don’t believe me. So ask yourself, how would you, if you were president and had those beliefs, go about the task?
If you think about it the answer is: exactly as Obama has done. The most direct solution is to get America to default on its debts (after running the debts as high as possible during your first few years). That would really shake the world’s capitalist system.
Everything else Obama is doing is smoke-and-mirrors to hide that this is his goal and to blame his enemies when it happens.
