Salon Editor Joan Walsh Admits She’s as Immoral As She Is Stupid (Video)

Liberal crank and Salon editor Joan Walsh admitted on MSNBC that she “looked stupid” (an understatement) for believing Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) but that we should overlook his many lies because he’s not a principled rightwinger.

From the video: In a bizarre segment on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” host Ed Schultz tries to implore his left-wing demagogue panelists Joan Walsh and Bill Press to face reality and own up to what Rep. Anthony Weiner is guilty of. During the conversation Ms. Walsh and Mr. Press spend the entire time arguing about “not letting the other side win” and Ed Schultz yells “you people are in denial!”
Good rule of thumb: When Ed Schultz sounds like the most reasonable person in your group, you have a problem.

I also commend Ed for being a realist rather than a leftist on this one. The main issue is that he openly lied to the American public and the media. How could anyone trust his moral standards when making ANY decisions. This isn’t a left or right issue…its morals and standards which he obviously has NONE of.

Scary. When Ed Schultz is the only one in the room that gets it you know you’re in trouble. If Weiner is willing to lie about this what else is he willing o lie to he American people about? That is the issue. The country is facing huge problems, if we cannot trust our leaders to be honest about their thoughts and actions then we are sunk.

My theory is that today’s angry liberal is yesterday’s unpopular kid on the playground. When the liberal is laughed at or mocked, he has flashbacks.

It is remarkable that none of them care about a Congressman sending pictures of himself in his underwear to anyone, let alone a young lady he doesn’t even know. Nor do they care about him cavorting after the young ladies.
Only if it is x-rated, and the sleaze rises to nose-level, do they even begin to have any qualms about the impropriety of it all. Any sense of common decency is dismissed as “morality” as if that is something to be avoided.

Remember, besides the White House intern Monica, and very publicly lying under oath, Bill was also accused of rape or sexual assault by at least 2 dozen other women. You’re right. These guys show us once and for all that they have no moral credibility. Imagine this argument if a Republican were involved. The woman is saying that moral outrage has no place in politics, which might explain why we are in the mess we are in.
If he were a private person, it would be his life. I agree on that. I spent the last couple of years of my career dealing with the inner workings of today’s society. The whole social networking thing is simply out of control. You think Weiner was outlandish??? He’s an amateur.
The Left in America attracts people who don’t want to be exposed to judgment, which also explains why they are what they are and do what they do.
