Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Warns About Christian Terrorists at Radical Islam Hearing

To the left, every religion is the same and Christianity poses as great a threat to our nation as radical Islam. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee warned about Christian terrorists at the hearing yesterday on radical Islam.
The Raw Story reported, via FOX Nation:
When Rep. Peter King (R-NY) called a hearing on Muslim radicalism, he probably didn’t expect Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) to turn the spotlight on “Christian militants.”
But that’s exactly what she did Wednesday.
Jackson Lee noted that one witness who wrote a letter to the committee about the dangers of radical Islam in prisons had been arrested for bombing an abortion clinic.
“Are you familiar with the Christian militants?” she asked former New York Dept. of Correctional Services official Patrick Dunleavy. “Can one might say that they might possibly want to undermine this country because right now the right for women to choose is a Constitutional right but people disagree with it but here is an individual trying to undermine the protections that are given to women? Would you suggest that might be compared to trying to undermine this country? That’s a possibility, is it not?”
“Well, I think that anyone that goes about killing in the name of God is an ideologue,” Dunleavy admitted.

Rep. Jackson Lee must have missed this report in December of last year… In the last 24 months 126 people were indicted on terrorist-related charges in the United States. All of them were Muslim.

Michael Berry, former 4 term Houston City Councilman, and talk show host takes Sheila on almost everyday. Yesterday he read a list of Palestinian-Americans who contribute mega dollars to Sheila’s campaign coffers wondering why Palestinians, who are not in Sheila’s district, are contributing to her campaign.
The State Street Patriots filed a complaint against SJL last election day. Her office was in the same building that held a poll. SJL walked past the lines handing out her business cards to voters which is illegal as hell. When called on it, she said she had a right to do that because her office was in that building and those were her constituents. Nevermind she was on the ballot and violated election laws. “Muss I die” Sheila is above election laws. And what did Sheila do? She called the police on the poll watchers, demanding they be removed which is a clear violation of election laws.
Her Houston district is the most crime ridden, poverty sticken district in Texas. She does nothing for them other than line her own pockets and increase the balance in her personal checking account. She abuses travel rules, spends other people’s money (the taxpayer) on junkets for her and her friends, and has got to be one of the dumbest people to have ever served in Congress.
But there is hope. Anita Moncrief, the ACORN whistleblower, has started the Crispus Attacks TEA Party in Sheila’s district. Anita knows that extensive voter fraud has gone on in Shiela’s district, and she is out to stop it and get Sheila dumped.

This reminds me of hearing it over and over about the Tea Party violence. Even folks like O’Reilly puts this disclaimer into their statement. Why are they not called on it? One of their best weapons is to repeat the lie so many times that they can then quote all those published lies. This is why Breitbart started telling them to name one or show one, etc.
People need to start confronting them when it comes out of their mouths. O’Reilly. Make him give a couple of examples. If he can say it as if it is gospel, prove it.

The copy of the Constitution that SJL is holding in the video was printed by the Commission on the bicentennial of the United States Constitution, last reprinted in 1992. It was clearly the one she was given when she took office and you can bet it is probably only the second time she has ever used it. She obviously has never read it.
But please, don’t blame Texans for her. She was born in New York and is a transplant. Just another grifter who gains office because her district is so uneducated.

A number of leaders of Islamic organizations (all of whom publicly opposed the King hearings on Muslim radicalization) were about to be indicted on terror finance support charges by the U.S. attorney’s office in Dallas, which had been investigating the case for most of the past decade.
But those indictments were scuttled last year at the direction of top-level political appointees within the Department of Justice (DOJ) — and possibly even the White House.

We have no laws or constitutional amendments “criminalizing all forms of Islam under penalty of deportation and forfeiture of assets,” or anything remotely like it. Au contraire, we have a government that often gives kid-glove treatment to Muslims, makes special accommodations for them, engages in “Muslim outreach,” etc. And yet Muslims are still plotting and launching terror attacks on Americans.
Muslims do not need the kind of provocation or persecution in your hypothesis in order to commit terrorism. Often, the mere presence of a church in their neighborhood is enough. In Scandinavia, the presence of unveiled women is enough to provoke rape-terrorism by Muslim men.
By contrast: many countries (Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, China, etc.) impose severe restrictions on the practice of Christianity. Christians are not responding with a wave of terrorism. Far from it.
Here’s a test: How do Muslims react to a cartoon that mocks their “prophet”? How do Christians react to a cartoon that mocks Jesus? If you say there’s not a huge difference, you’re either insane or a liar.

To the military question, I think about this a lot because I believe that Obama is going to attempt a “Chavez”. Due to an overall lack of any attempt to call this president to order,it gives the appearance of a unicameral government. I would certainly not fight Israel and cannot think of any Constitutional question about that. The Constitution is about defending America not acting as a personal police force for some aberrant political figure.

There are assumptions of uniformity in your questions. Bomb threats were made against theaters showing The Last Temptation of Christ. However, the switchboards were not jammed, indicating that only a few zealots were to blame.
There are Muslims who don’t mind the cartoons of their Prophet because they (rightly) understand the purpose of the prohibition is to prevent Muslims from practicing idolatry.
I also knew a Jew who said pork doesn’t count if it’s in Chinese food.

Thank you for your candid responses. The first answer is succinct and elegant. I would expect a similar answer from Augustine.
As for the second, I don’t believe that such alarmist rhetoric is warranted. He’s really no worse than any US President from the past twenty years.
Also a minor point: The US Constitution is self-defining and as such its purpose changes with every amendment and its function changes with every amendment, Supreme Court decision, or lawfully executed treaty. (See Article VI)

I would NEVER condone violence, per Jesus Christ’s example.

I presented evidence of Christians and Muslims reacting very differently to similar provocations, and not just in isolated, cherry-picked cases. The evidence shows overwhelmingly that Muslims often react with shocking violence to minor provocations, while Christians generally react with patient endurance to great provocations. The difference is in keeping with the polar-opposite character of Muhammad vs. Jesus.
That fact that a few Muslims didn’t mind the Muhammad cartoons is irrelevant given that so many Muslims reacted violently and threateningly, while there is NO modern Christian parallel to the cartoon slaughter. None whatsoever.
People are not self-censoring for fear of what Christians will do to them, and no one requires round-the-clock protection as a result of publicly criticizing Christianity.
Since 9/11, Muslims have perpetrated more than 17,000 deadly terror attacks around the world. There is NO comparable record of terror attacks in the name of Christianity.

There is not a single statement in the Holy Book Al Qur’an or in the sayings (ahadith/sunnah) of the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which allows abortion!
