Rep. Darrell Issa: Holder Absolutely Knew About “Fast & Furious” Earlier Than He Testified (Video)

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) told CNS News that Obama Attorney General is covering up on the Mexican gun-running scandal.

CNS News reported, via FOX Nation:

House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R.-Calif.) told CNSNews.com in an interview that he believes the Justice Department is covering up information relevant to a congressional investigation of an operation in which the department knowingly allowed intermediaries of Mexican drug cartels to purchase guns at licensed firearms dealers in the United States and then get away without being arrested or the guns being retrieved.

Last December, two of those guns ended up at the scene of the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent who was killed by alleged agents of the Mexican drug cartels.

Issa pointed to two things he says indicates a Justice Department cover up. First, he cites a letter that Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich, head of the Justice Department’s office of legislative affairs, sent to Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Feb. 4, 2011. Issa characterizes that letter as a “lie.”

Secondly, Issa says the Justice Department made excessive and unjustifiable redactions in documents it provided to his committee.

The Politico announced tonight that the ATF head will resign over the scandal.

I guess all those guns Hillary Clinton and the President of Mexico were complaining about coming from U.S. citizens really was coming from the Obama Administration/ATF/Department of Justice. Interesting to use law enforcement to break the law, ship illegal guns across the border, then have liberal politicians condemn Americans and the 2nd Amendment and call for changes to the 2nd Amendment.
I hope the investigations continue, all the while Holder is destroying evidence.

I too am very upset with Col/congressman West! I get regular e-mails from him because I sooo admired him but I believe he showed his true colors by voteing to refund the fraud Pigford. He used the excuse in his e-mail that he was not up to date on the information! BULL!!!!! I sent a e-mail and had myself removed from his news letters. He needs to resign from the corrupted Black Cacus because they will destroy any chances for him to advance in the political field. So sad!

Isn’t this the sort of Leftist conspiracy basis that was cynically and preposterously leveled against Bush – that he created the 9/11 attacks to give him an excuse to invade Iraq? The accusation REQUIRED an assumption of a cold-hearted psycopathic mind – so callous a person he’d stage the murder of our own citizens to enable a political agenda. It was hard to tell which part of this was worse – the outrageous accusation against Bush or the detached mind of the person who was so willing to believe Bush would be able to even CONSIDER such a amoral thing, much less act on it.

Yet here we are with no logical or rational explanation of how the DOJ and ATF could reduce Mexican cartel crime by letting automatic weapons be sold to criminals and then be transported over the border where they couldn’t be tracked, but these Obama Administration enabled guns seem to be the sole basis for Obama and Hilary’s statistics on sources of Mexican cartel weapons.

Thousands of guns acquired and smuggled into Mexico under the supervision of Holder’s justice Dept, Holder had no idea, its clear to me that this was a scheme to designed to futher Obama’s campaign to pass new gun control laws.
