FOX News: Andrew Breitbart Is “Mortified” After Opie and Anthony Snag & Post Weiner Shot (Video)

FOX News reported this afternoon that Andrew Breitbart is “mortified” after talk radio hosts Opie and Anthony snagged a photo of Rep. Weiner’s “junk” and posted it online today. Breitbart told FOX News it was a breach of contract. Breitbart said Opie Hughes secretly took the picture when he was on the show this morning.

“It was a complete violation of trust.”

Eric Shawn at FOX News reported:

Mr. Breitbart said he’s been holding it back and did not want to make it public. Breitbart broke this scandalous story as you know and he told me that Opie Hughes from the Opie and Anthony radio program secretly snapped a picture of the completely explicit photo while Breitbart was on their show and then Opie posted it on the internet. Breitbart told me he never wanted the photo to be released. That it was released without his permission. He said quote, “I’m mortified. This is the first time that someone surreptitiously grabbed a photo of it. This is a complete breach of our arrangement that the photo would not be made public. It was a complete violation of trust.”

However, let’s place “blame” where it belongs, Congressman Weiner for the idiocy of having sent that to someone, and the Opie and Anthony show, for the despicable manner in which they acquired the picture, and their utter lack of integrity in then releasing it.

My only problem with Breitbart is that he said he wouldn’t publish it. He should have said he intended to publish it unless Weiner “brought the matter to a close the right way”. The fact and the method by which it got published it bothers me not one iota, even if this was a plan cooked up by Breitbart and O&A. If this was a ‘pub, the slimestream media would have had this photo out there in 4 seconds flat. I couldn’t care less if Breitbart went back on his statement he wouldn’t publish it or if he planned the whole thing with O&A.

And I say hooray for Breitbart. It’s about time the right started showing the left we can play by the same ROE. And a hat tip to O&A for doing the right thing for once.

The Dick deserves a lot worse than he’s gotten so far. But it ain’t over yet. And his meager, weak apology to Breitbart for accusing him FOR A WEEK of hacking him wasn’t even close to enough. He should have groveled at Brietbart’s feet if he didn’t want that photo to be shown to one more person anywhere ever again.

I guess the one saving grace in that situation is that she’s Muslim and Muslim women are used to being treated like 5hit. Maybe dear Hillary, her boss, can console her, having been through it herself.

I hear what you’re saying, but I think you misinterpret what people are saying in this thread. People (and myself) are saying Breitbart showed poor judgement in showing that picture to such wankers as Opie & Anthony. As mentioned above, these are the dipsh*ts who encouraged a couple to have sex in St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Not real stellar citizens, these two.

I don’t think people are upset at Breitbart for bringing down Weiner, in fact just the opposite. People are offended that what once was a solid ‘W’ for the right has been lessened to a degree. That’s what sucks about Breitbart saying he won’t release the picture then having the scumbags O&A do so thanks to Breitbart showing it to them ‘on trust’. O&A were never trustworthy people.

I seriously doubt that any role Breitbart may have played in publishing the photo stems from juvenile hilarity obsessed with “size.” My educated guess is that it stems from a need for vindication and an ongoing effort to point out the disparity of ethics between the right and the left, as well as the hypocrisy of the slimestream media monsters who are an active partner in advancing the left wing’s “progressive” agenda.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more I believe Breitbart didn’t know that O&A would publish it because I think he would have chosen a more dignified medium than O&A to do so.

I agree that O&A wasn’t the best vehicle to maneuver the photo onto the net through because of their reputation, but if he wanted it out there and had reason to believe other outlets wouldn’t touch itseeing as how The Dick is a rat rather than a pub, it may have been the only venue possible. Further, O&A would make good “patsies” for publishing it because people would be more likely to believe they did it surreptitiously. OTOH, if Breitbart really didn’t want it to be published and really was pwned by O&A, the photo is nevertheless “out there” as it should be. Let Breitbart be more circumspect next time, and there WILL be a “next time”.

BTW, there are numerous posts on here condemning Breitbart for it being published as though that’s a bad thing, simply because Breitbart said HE wouldn’t publish it. Well, HE didn’t.

Breitbart has walked right up to the left wing media’s front door and is beating it down with a battering ram. He’s still learning. Sometimes he may stumble. But he’s got more stones than most of these candya55es in the pub party when it comes to calling out the left. My point is that Weiner is as much of a filthy pig as Bubba was/is. While Bubba also didn’t step down, abandoning the presidency is a whole lot bigger deal than abandoning a congressional seat.

I can’t find the words to express the contempt I feel for a man who would hurt and humiliate his pregnant bride in such a grosteque, public manner.

I don’t know why anybody is condemning Andrew Breitbart for any part of this mess. It seems that the stories from both Breitbart and the Opie and Anthony show are consistent: The O&A show ripped off a copy of a photo from Breitbart’s phone, without his knowledge or permission. Breitbart kept his word, and did not publish the photo.

Further, Breitbart showed restraint not to be found in most of the rest of the media, by withholding the worst of the pictures until he got called a liar by various people, including Rep. Weiner.

The explicit photo is important because it establishes that the clothed photo was probably not the result of a malicious hack by another, but was more likely part of a course of conduct by the government official, himself.

I mean, it’s not as if he secretly took the Weiner weiner pic or hacked the weiner’s twitter account to obtain it, as the Weiner falsely accused him of doing. He did enter into a verbal agreement with the Weiner, however, and, as a result of letting his guard down, someone of lesser (or no) integrity was able to break his end of the bargain. As smart as he is honorable, I betcha Breitbart never trusts those @$$holes again. I just wish he’d not learned that one the hard way (surely, he wishes that, too).
