BREAKING: Anthony Weiner Is Now Considering Resigning (Video)

Penis-Tweeting Liar May Resign—
FOX News is now reporting that Congressman Anthony Weiner is considering resigning from the House of Representatives.

Breaking from the FOX Report:

The New York Daily News has more:

As a cache of embarrassing new photos appeared Sunday, Rep. Anthony Weiner finally began considering the possibility that he may have to resign.

A source close to the congressman told the Daily News that Weiner had been adamant about keeping his seat – even as the Democratic leadership urged him to quit amid daily new revelations of reckless sexting.

But the unrelenting media coverage, the demands he step down from his party’s leadership, and the appearance of more humiliating photos made Weiner realize he may not be able to bull through the crisis after all, the source said.

published a new slew of squirm-inducing self-portraits, including several full-body shots taken in the House gym – some clothed, some not.

I’ll believe it when it happens…..the guy has nowhere to go…..unless Soros hires him…..

  • Conservative Ken

Well… John Edwards could always use a cellmate

  • MrGoodWench

    Considering ?
Why ? He should go after Harvey Levin for hacking his twitter account..

  • good riddance to a leftist arrogant SOB

  • moron

    I suspect a payoff from Soros and/or al-Qaeda.

  • MrGoodWench

Maybe Hillary will take him with her to the World Bank .
In the meantime he can work for his media secretary 😀

  • DaveinPhoenix

The economy in ruins and these pricks hang onto the power and perks as if their life depended on it. Thanks for all you’ve done for us Tony – now get the eff out of here.

  • Skinner

Tony finally comes to the realization that while he is a Dem, his name is NOT “Kennedy” or “Clinton”…

  • Rachelle

Maybe Oscar Myer can hire him as a spokesman.

  • Rachelle

Remember that Wiener was a merciless bully to others. No pity for Wiener Man.

  • Milking the sympathy vote, his wife, Huma will take his place … oh, wait, Hillary has “taken her under her wing.”
Just when ya think it can’t get any more ick, it they go off and say THAT.

  • RedBeard

Maybe he’ll teach. After all, universities aren’t entirely full of leftist jerks yet; room for at least one more.

  • moron

    TSA screener?

  • P. Aaron

    No more Weiner roasts.

  • regularguy

NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Our country cannot go without his wise political and economic stewardship at this critical juncture.

  • PSGInfinity

Ken, wouldn’t putzing those two egomaniacs together be like crossing the streams?

  • Mr. Potato Head

I’ll believe it when it happens. In the meantime, I’m envisioning emotional constituents getting weepy for their Weiner.

  • LL

He’ll resign when he has another paying job locked up. The Dems have a lot of them. He could run in place of Bloomberg when he hangs up his spurs.

Weiner has a BA degree and 47 years as a political hack, with no other job skills. His wife has a job but she may dump him at any time. I’m sure it’s about the power – but it’s also about the money.

  • Annaleesea

I’m thinking the “fist on towel on weiner” picture that was released most likely sealed the deal. Maybe he should try his “hand” at porn after this. With Huma firmly “under Hillarys wing” he has no worries..EWW. We all have some absurd situtations in life, but, “damn”, these demoncrat politicians stories should be shown on Niptuck, really.

  • Conservative Ken

See ya on the other side!

The only reason the Democrat elite are calling for a resignation is because it’s a Presidential election season. There are alot of asses on the line and letting this slide could really bite some Democrat asses.

  • Will

Honestly, I want him to resign. But the sadistic SOB in me don’t want him to resign. I agree with Rush Limbaugh, we should have let him stay and have the Democratic party cooked in it’s own hypocrisy.

  • I lay odds that he was offered a lobbyist job. Big money is the only thing that will make that ego maniac walk away.

  • Sally

Too bad he won’t be expelled; even if he does resign won’t he receive his big fat congressional pension, free and top of the line health care (exempt from Obamacare, of course)?

Too bad the tax payers can’t keep that $$

The question is, did he get outed b/c he supported Israel?

  • Faye

Don’t all federal legislators get full salary and benefits after they leave office for life? If that is the case, why would he have to look for another job unless he wanted to?
Too bad there are not term limits on these weasels. Sorry weasels for dissing you.

  • succotash

He can be the OSCAR MAYOR WEINER of NYC. That is what he truly wants to be.

  • Contessa61

He’s most likely getting a sweet deal or a payoff from the Dem Party or friends of the Dems.

  • Wm T Sherman

    Moby alert.

Quite an onslaught of cretinous remarks in the comments sections. Right now the theme is antisemetic, for other posts it’s been racist stuff. I see you’ve gotten is of the latest ones, but you know, it’s probably just going to continue.

I would bet good money that the vast majority of these nasty comments are plants by mobies. Mr. Hoft et al, I think you are possibly under coordinated attack by “Progressive” operators and should find a way to monitor the comments section fairly closely. I don’t mean “coordinated” as some vast conspiracy – all it takes is a few like-minded college students or something.

It’s only going to get worse between now and November 2012. Perhaps if you have an automated flag system it could be tuned on a post-specific basis. You can sort of predict what they might do based on the subject matter.

If these comments are originating in places that suggest the actions of Progressive mobies, such as colleges, government offices, or particular industries, it might be worth a post just to break it down for people, and also start adding to the opportunity cost.

  • dnb

Positive someone’s offering him a job. Wonder who?

  • tc

homeboy took the TSA’s mantra of “touch that junk!” to a whole new level.

  • tommy mc donnell

MSNBC is in his future. he can co-host with spitzer.

  • kansas

I hope he doesn’t resign. The media might start covering how absolutely pathetic the economy is and what a completey f u c k u p we have for a President. I prefer the distraction since the Palin email distraction isn’t working out.

  • jimg

Don’t all federal legislators get full salary and benefits after they leave office for life?

Absolutely not, and I have no idea where you heard that.

  • Wm T Sherman

I think we are going to see the Weiner/Spitzer News Hour in the near future. The Democratic Party is officially rid of the little creep, Weiner continues to get money for being nasty plus access to women David Letterman style, and the network has another amoral but lucrative freak show.

  • Carbon Pootprint

Where oh where will New York find another lying douche-bag Progressive traitor to take his place? Shouldn’t take more than 10 seconds.

  • Truthcop

Never you worry…CNN will give him a show.
    Maybe “Spitzer and Weiner”??

  • JonahVark

Congressman Anthony Weiner just announced he will run for President and has selected Attorney General Eric Holder as his Vice-Presidential running mate.
    Weiner-Holder in 2012.

Thought it was time we had a good laugh! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  • SeniorD

ANYTHING if it stops the 24x7x365 coverage. I’ve had too much!

  • JimmyT

Hillary will hire him as Huma’s assistant. She will put adult locks on his computer and preview all his tweets/FB comments.

  • Meep

AlGore would put it in a Lock Box.

  • kato

There’ll be one less schmuck in the Congress.

Glad to see that Clinton’s doormat has taken Huma under her wing.

  • Larry Sheldon

He resigned some time ago–what we need now is for him to get out so we can disinfect the office.

That depends on how long they have served. Here is an outline of what they receive –

If you are asking specifically if Weiner could “retire” on our dime, the answer is no.

  • SM-AZ

Bye Bye Weiner & good riddance!

  • donh

Smiling Bob has called Weiner to offer him a partnership with his buddy Tom selling sample packages . Unfortunately its not a salary and benefits kind of job. Strictly comission …

  • KR

Weiner will have loads of time to tweet.

  • ss252

The insanity of this, is WE ALL KNOW HERE that this punk will land a sweet job and still have influence in politics….

They just never ever go away!

  • Valerie

Now I’m going to rub it in.

We’re here watching a Congressman be embarrassed by his misuse of his government-sponsored messaging accounts, and at the same time, the lamestream media has tried to embarrass Sarah Palin the same way, with different results.

The trove of more than 13,000 emails detailing almost every aspect of Sarah Palin’s governorship of Alaska, released late on Friday, paints a picture of her as an idealistic, conscientious, humorous and humane woman slightly bemused by the world of politics.

One can only assume that the Left-leaning editors who dispatched teams of reporters to remote Juneau, the Alaskan capital, to pore over the emails in the hope of digging up a scandal are now viewing the result as a rather poor return on their considerable investment.

If anything, Mrs Palin seems likely to emerge from the scrutiny of the 24,000 pages, contained in six boxes and weighing 275 pounds, with her reputation considerably enhanced.

  • Rose

He ain’t considering it nearly heartily enough – he still has not resigned and done the Right Thing.

Nasty pervert is no different than the creep in a raincoat on the street corner.
    Ditto every single supporter.

I don’t mean those who want him to stay so he can further shame the Dims.
I mean those who want him to stay because they agree with him.

  • DomesticGoddess

He’s starting a “firm” and calling it Weiner, Cox and Johnson.

  • donh

A law firm of Bohner, Cox, Weiner and Spitzer would sure be a firm nobody would want to see in court.

  • Oldpuppymax

Given the number of perverts, deviates and hyper-arrogant thugs in Congress, you’d think he would be more at home there than anyplace else on the planet!!!!

  • EJ

Anyone agree with me that Anthony Wiener looks like Squidward??

  • @Lee___: The Weiner is no doubt in negotiations with Soros, Inc. this very moment, “considering” his options.
