Jerusalem- The Wailing Wall
June 7, 1967

Sometime around 10:15 on the morning of June 7, 1967…
The first reservist paratroopers of Brigade 55 broke through the Lion’s Gate leading into the Old City of Jerusalem and reached the narrow enclave of the Western Wall. Having just fought a fierce two-day battle in the streets of east Jerusalem, they grieved for lost friends, and grieved as well for their own lost innocence in what for many was their first experience of combat. They leaned against the Wall, some in exhaustion, some in prayer. Several wept, instinctively connecting to the Wall’s tradition of mourning the destruction of the Temple and the loss of Jewish sovereignty—precisely at the moment when Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem had been restored.

Several hours later, Yitzhak Yifat, a twenty-four-year-old reservist about to begin medical school, reached the Wall. As part of the brigade’s 66th Battalion, he and his friends had fought in the Six Day War’s toughest battle: Intimate combat against elite Jordanian Legionnaires in the trenches of Ammunition Hill, on the road to Mount Scopus.

Barack Obama, the most anti-Isreal president in US history, told Israel today to divide Jerusalem. He told Israel to move back to the 1967 border.

Here’s the full text of Barack Obama’s devastating speech.

So while the core issues of the conflict must be negotiated, the basis of those negotiations is clear: a viable Palestine, and a secure Israel. The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.

This must be his gift to the Hamas-Fatah Alliance.

In 2008 Obama promised that he would not divide Jerusalem.

I would have to say NO. This is the end days. We in this country who truly believe in it are now in the biggest fight of our lives. We thought we were worn and tired from 3 years of this anti-American, anti-Irsrael administration? We are just getting started!!

“We have openly said that the map will never again be the same as on June 4, 1967. For us, this is a matter of security and of principles. The June map is for us equivalent to insecurity and danger. I do not exaggerate when I say that it has for us something of a memory of Auschwitz. We shudder when we think of what would have awaited us in the circumstances of June, 1967, if we had been defeated; with Syrians on the mountain and we in the valley, with the Jordanian army in sight of the sea, with the Egyptians who hold our throat in their hands in Gaza. This is a situation which will never be repeated in history.”

he used the word “laser focus”, so just ignore him.

Re above: “When Abba Eban, appeared at the United Nations following the Six Day war, Israel’s foreign minister, he described the fragility of Israel’s 1949-1967 map as Israel’s “Auschwitz” lines”.”

Glenn Beck was right. If there’s any order I pray to God our military would disobey, it would be an unprovoked attack on or occupation of Israel.

Why do you think Obama supports Islamist regimes to take the place of the dictators and monarchs? Why do you think he is giving them billions? It’s to wage war on Israel and destroy her. Obama at the very least considers Israel to be the real cause of strife in the Middle East, not radical Islam and at the very worst considers Israel a white colonial outpost in Arab land.

As for America’s Jews, the ones who support Israel on the right and left have already made themselves known: Pamela Geller, Alan Dershowitz, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, etc.. The rest are like Colin Farrell’s character in the recent film “The Way Back.” Despite Farrell’s time in a Siberian gulag and what he’d seen done to political prisoners (he was a criminal), he still insisted that Stalin was a good man and unlike the others, chose to remain in the USSR.

Next up is the UN Resolution for a New Palistinian State. Obama will now direct the state department to vote for such a state based on his claim of some sort of 1967 withdrawl lines.

Does this mean Israel gets back the Gaza peninsula from Egypt?
