BOMB THREAT At Scott Walker News Conference – Leftist Protester Arrested!

Far Left protester Patrick J. Knauf, 43, of Eau Claire was arrested on Wednesday for the violation of making a bomb scare under state statute 947.015.
He was released on a $3,000 signature bond.
On Wednesday a bomb threat was made at an aviation business in Eau Claire just hours after Governor Scott Walker spoke there. Police brought in a man who was protesting this week against the Republican governor.
The Pierce County Herald reported:
An investigation continues into a bomb threat made this week at an aviation business in Eau Claire, just hours after Governor Scott Walker held a news conference there.
Authorities said a 43-year-old Eau Claire man allegedly called in a threat to Heartland Aviation on Wednesday evening. The facility is next to the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire. The man is free on a signature bond. No charges have been filed yet, but the man is due back in Chippewa County Circuit Court on April 19th.
Investigators said the man took part in public demonstrations at the airport on Monday and Wednesday. His home was searched yesterday, and police are checking phone records and interviewing people. Eau Claire Police have asked for tips with more information.

The Democratic legislators have acted as though they have no respect for the law or free elections. The Police are failing to enforce the law and the demonstrators have been skirting the law for at least two weeks now..
It was entirely predictable that under these sad circumstances, others would follow. When the elected officials and the police do not respected the law, people will take the law into their own hands.
Next…we can expect violence if this hysteria continues.

I’m very surprised that someone calling in a bomb threat gets away with a signature bond, and doesn’t appear in court until April 19th.
If a Tea-Party type did that I think he’d be jugged without bond until the judge released him for a psych evaluation.
We need more info, but I’m wondering who in the justice system in Eau Claire is involved this decision, and whether said individuals have D’s or R’s after their names.

Aside from the apparent fact that this guy’s not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, maybe this Densa alumnus thought that making the threat AFTER the Gov departed would somehow fall under the category of “symbolic” and absolve him of criminal prosecution?
Was the threat illegal? Um….yeah.
Even if the Gov wasn’t there, was there property at potential risk and other (post-birth) human lives at risk of injury or death? Well….um….only if there really was a bomb, yup, yup, yup.
So, actual bomb or not, it’s still A WHOLE LOT illegal to make the threat, right? Well, I’m not actuall on the right, I consider myself on the left, poltically, so, that makes it an OK method of speaking truth to power and all that jazz…

That unions filled a need when workers were being abused by industry is without dispute. But now the unions are the abusers by taking member fees, paying themselves exhorbitant salaries, allowances and expenses and finally by donating millions of dollars to Democrats who vote to protect the programs the union leaders identify as they want to protect.

As I posted on the previous thread, this is WAY beyond a mere union issue. This is literally the takeover of the government of the State of Wisconsin by the unions in concert with the democrats. Did any of you even compare the BOMBastic headline vs. the actual story? This was not a bomb threat at Walker’s news conference. This was called in AFTER 5:00 pm. The news conference ended several hours earlier.
While I don’t condone bomb threats/scares or even actual bombs, I DO condone getting headlines more accurate to reflect the actual news. I do NOT condone intentionally using over-the-top headlines to try and arouse an already overzealous base.
As for the subject being a “far-left protester”, what is the criteria for making such a determination?
