Bill Maher Calls Sarah Palin a “Dumb Twat” (Video)

(Excuse me for printing his words. I wanted you to see what the left is saying now.)
This is infuriating. This clod deserves no respect.
Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a “dumb twat” on his comedy show last night.
His far left audience loved it.
The Daily Caller reported:

On Friday night’s airing of the show, host Bill Maher took a shot at one of the left’s favorite targets, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, by contemplating her reaction to the tragic events that have unfolded in Japan over the past nine days. (h/t Real Clear Politics Video)

“Did you hear this – Sarah Palin finally heard what happened in Japan and she’s demanding that we invade ‘Tsunami,’” Maher said. “I mean she said, ‘These ‘Tsunamians’ will not get away with this.’ Oh speaking of dumb twats, did you –”

Maher isn’t one to avoid crossing those lines and was rewarded with approval from his audience.

So what’s left?
Have they called her the “c-word” yet?

And when will someone on the left stand up and object to these awful attacks? Or are they all OK with calling women twats on television now?

    For a bit of contrast:

On Saturday evening, Sarah Palin, 2008 Republic vice-presidential candidate and former governor of Alaska, got an extremely warm welcome when she delivered the closing keynote address at a conference in New Delhi.

As she got up to head to the podium, Aroon Purie, the editor-in-chief of India Today, the weekly magazine that organized the conference and invited Ms. Palin to India in a rare overseas visit, halted her, saying, “Not so fast. I’ve got lots more nice things to say about you.”

In his highly flattering introduction, Mr. Purie did make a gentle dig about her having a creative vocabulary, saying, “Madam, I hope you won’t refudiate me if I say so.”

The self-righteous do not see any lines applicable when they are acting for their cause against its declared enemies. Some of them may wonder how the Khmer Rouge were able to do so much evil in Cambodia, but when it comes to their own actions, or support of their cohorts, they are incapable of seeing how they could possibly be bad. After all, their whole mindeset is about being on the “good” side of every issue, (at least when viewed simplistically).

Maher is a scumbag to all but those whose moral sense has been numbed by the mental masturbation they wish to be known as “progressivism”.

Bill Maher, and everyone knows this, is a complete and utter buffoon. Uneducated and ignorant, somehow he manages to convince HBO that he is politically savvy. Remember this is the guy who goes on ABC’s This Morning and says that Brazil doesn’t rely on it’s industry of oil. Just like many liberals and their racist and intolerant ilk full of hate, when they are afraid of something, they come up with insults with no foundation in facts.

It’s very simple really, he is envious of Sarah. He is old and irrelevant, Sarah can tweet a few words and it gets attention around the world. His legacy is nothing. Her legacy will be part of American history.

    Here are some anti-Palin “lowlights”:

In a one-minute speech made on the House floor , Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) likened Barack Obama to a community organizer and in the same comment by MSK speech compared Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate, who, as Cohen pointed out, was a governor.

Here’s the exact line at 1022 (tape in DC bureau)
“If you want change, you want the Democratic Party,” said Cohen. “Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, who our minister just prayed about. Pontius Pilate was a governor.”

South Carolina Democratic chairwoman Carol Fowler sharply attacked Sarah Palin today, saying John McCain had chosen a running mate ” whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.”

Did Palin Take Proper Pre-Natal Care?
    August 30th, 2008, 9:54 PM EDT

Rogers Cadenhead gives the timeline associated with the birth of her newest child. She had a speech in Dallas and, even after the water broke, continued with her activities, and then boarded a plane for home. She did consult by phone with her doctor.

Still, a Sacramento, Calif., obstetrician who is active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said when a pregnant woman’s water breaks, she should go right to the hospital because of the risk of infection. That’s true even if the amniotic fluid simply leaks out, said Dr. Laurie Gregg.

CNN’s John Roberts Thinks VP Palin Would Neglect Disabled Child
    August 29, 2008

JOHN ROBERTS: You know, there’s one other issue — we’ve talked about her experience and what depth of experience she has; the fact that maybe she tries to peel off a few women voters on the Democratic side, who really wanted to see a woman in the White House in some way, shape, or form. There’s also this issue that on April 18th, she gave birth to a baby with Down’s Syndrome.
    DANA BASH: Yes.

ROBERTS: The baby is just slightly more than four months old now. Children with Down’s syndrome require an awful lot of attention. The role of Vice President, it seems to me, would take up an awful lot of her time, and it raises the issue of how much time will she have to dedicate to her newborn child?

    Palin Derangement Syndrome

    Cinnamon Stillwell
    Thursday, September 18, 2008

The attacks on Palin have ranged from patronizing to vicious to fantastical. She has been caricatured as an inexperienced rube, a baby-making automaton, an uneducated underachiever, a bad mother, trailer-park trash, a rightwing religious fanatic, a sexual fantasy, and of course, a fascist. No subject has been deemed taboo in the effort to take Palin down.

In the pages of Salon Magazine, for instance, writer Gary Kamiya likened her to a “dominatrix,” while University of Michigan Middle East studies professor Juan Cole compared her to a “Muslim fundamentalist” and a member of the Taliban.

Wendy Doniger, the Mircea Eliade Distinguished Service Professor of the History of Religions at the University of Chicago Divinity School, wrote that Palin’s “greatest hypocrisy is in her pretense that she is a woman” and denounced “the Republican Party’s cynical calculation that because [Palin] has a womb and makes lots and lots of babies — she speaks for the women of America.

Matt Damon likened Palin’s candidacy to a “really bad Disney movie,” and Gina Gershon went so far as to impersonate Palin in a vicious and unfunny clip that culminates in her stripping down to a bikini.

US Weekly’s decision to run a trashy cover story on Palin titled, “Baby, Lies & Scandal” (two months after a glowing cover story on the Obamas) has reportedly resulted in thousands of cancellations.

The worst example was when mainstream media outlets ran with a lurid rumor originating with an anonymous diarist at the leftist blog Daily Kos that insinuated that Palin’s son Trig was actually her grandson.

MSNBC’S Brzezinski Breaks Cover, Says Media’s Palin Hatred ‘Rabid’
    By Mike Sargent
    June 12, 2009 – 17:14 ET

[This morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough broke the news that – are you sitting down? – the media are biased against Sarah Palin.

The Morning Joe Brew Crew provided some very interesting insight, however. Scarborough led Brzezinski into talking about the insider’s view of the main-stream media attitude toward Palin after her introduction as the Republican VP candidate:]

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Mika, you defended Sarah Palin when she first came out because you saw the press respond so negatively to her but you noticed over the past several months a really, really negative reaction to you defending Sarah Palin.

BRZEZINSKI: I’m telling you that when she came out on the scene I was– thought it was refreshing. I thought it was exciting. I thought it was interesting. And I also saw a lot of people behind the scenes looking for ways to find a way to bring her down because of her ideology. And I was excited by her ideology because I thought, wow, a very interesting, forty-something, my generation, working woman with five kids on the national stage could really inject something into this conversation about things like abortion.

[So now we have an eyewitness account to the media’s attempt to smear Sarah Palin into oblivion.]

BRZEZINSKI: What I hated was, what I saw happening behind the scenes, among my colleagues in the media, where there was this rabidness.

    PEGGY NOONAN: Yes.

    SCARBOROUGH: But before –

    NOONAN: From the get-go.

SCARBOROUGH: Before they knew who she was.

NOONAN: Absolutely, they looked at her and they didn’t like her– it was unjust.

NOONAN: Yeah, they– Palin from the moment she came out, people looked at her kids and sort of went after the kids. It was vicious. It was offensive. It made me use in a column a word I wouldn’t normally use, rhymes with witch, talking about the people in the media who had just decided to gun for these kids. I mean, it was just awful.

A liberal feminist blogs about Sarah Palin, the lies that are being told about her, the unreasonable hatred, and the TRUTH! Read the entire thread and click on the embedded links- she’s written quite a lot about Palin!

Feminists and the mystery of Sarah Palin
    By Violet Socks · Saturday, July 4th, 2009 ·

But even weirder is what happens when you try to replace the myths with the truth. If you explain, “no, she didn’t charge rape victims,” your feminist interlocutor will come back with something else: “she’s abstinence-only!” No, you say, she’s not; and then the person comes back with, “she’s a creationist!” and so on. “She’s an uneducated moron!”

These people don’t hate Palin because of the lies; the lies exist to justify the hate. That’s why they keep reaching and reaching for something else, until they finally get to “she winked on TV!”

Besides, I know for a fact that at least some of the feminists spreading lies about Palin knew they were spreading lies. Not to tell tales out of school, but: they knew. They were supplied with the correct information, and they chose to lie anyway. Why?

Even more mind-boggling are the attacks that don’t even bother with false claims about policy or beliefs, but just go straight for free-floating misogynistic rage. Ridiculing her hair, clothes, makeup, voice, body, womb. “Sarah Palin is a cunt” — good one! Calling her a bimbo — good one! Calling her a fucking whore — good one! Fantasizing about her being gang-raped — good one! And all this from feminists. Forget the NAACP sponsoring a lynching; this is like the NAACP ripping off their masks to reveal that they’ve been replaced by white supremacist pod people.

Think back to the reactions to Sarah Palin’s speech at the convention. Remember the gal at Jezebel whose head throbbed with hate blood as she listened to Palin speak? The one who said she wanted to “murk that cunt”? What the hell is that? I cannot figure it out. I look and look, and it’s like trying to see someone else’s hallucination. No matter how hard I squint, I can’t see whatever it is they’re looking at. What is so horrifying?

When McCain picked Palin, liberal journalists coordinated the best line of attack – 07/22/201
By Jonathan Strong – The Daily Caller

Daniel Levy of the Century Foundation noted that Obama’s “non-official campaign” would need to work hard to discredit Palin. “This seems to me like an occasion when the non-official campaign has a big role to play in defining Palin, shaping the terms of the conversation and saying things that the official [Obama] campaign shouldn’t say – very hard-hitting stuff, including some of the things that people have been noting here – scare people about having this woefully inexperienced, no foreign policy/national security/right-wing christian wing-nut a heartbeat away …… bang away at McCain’s age making this unusually significant …. I think people should be replicating some of the not-so-pleasant viral email campaigns that were used against [Obama].”

Blogger Matt Yglesias sent out a new post thread with the subject, “The line on Palin.”

“John McCain picked someone to help him politically, Barack Obama picked someone to help him govern,” Yglesias wrote.

Ed Kilgore, managing editor of the Democratic Strategist blog, argued that journalists and others trying to help the Obama campaign should focus on Palin’s beliefs. “The criticism of her really, really needs to be ideological, not just about experience. If we concede she’s a ‘maverick,’ we will have done John McCain an enormous service. And let’s don’t concede the claim that [Hillary Clinton] supporters are likely to be very attracted to her,” Kilgore said.

Amidst this debate over how most effectively to destroy Palin’s reputation, reporter Avi Zenilman, who was then writing about the campaign for Politico, chimed in to note that Palin had “openly backed” parts of Obama’s energy plan. In an interview Wednesday, Zenilman said he was offering “typical offhand political analysis” and that Journolist was one of many online places he scoured for news to post to his blog.

Chris Hayes of the Nation wrote in with words of encouragement, and to ask for more talking points. “Keep the ideas coming! Have to go on TV to talk about this in a few min and need all the help I can get,” Hayes wrote.

Suzanne Nossel, chief of operations for Human Rights Watch, added a novel take: “I think it is and can be spun as a profoundly sexist pick. Women should feel umbrage at the idea that their votes can be attracted just by putting a woman, any woman, on the ticket no matter her qualifications or views.”

Mother Jones’s Stein loved the idea. “That’s excellent! If enough people – people on this list? – write that the pick is sexist, you’ll have the networks debating it for days. And that negates the SINGLE thing Palin brings to the ticket,” he wrote.

Another writer from Mother Jones, Nick Baumann, had this idea: “Say it with me: ‘Classic GOP Tokenism’.”

Time’s Joe Klein then linked to his own piece, parts of which he acknowledged came from strategy sessions on Journolist. “Here’s my attempt to incorporate the accumulated wisdom of this august list-serve community,” he wrote. And indeed Klein’s article contained arguments developed by his fellow Journolisters. Klein praised Palin personally, calling her “fresh” and “delightful,” but questioned her “militant” ideology. He noted Palin had endorsed parts of Obama’s energy proposal.

Local Democrats wish death upon Sarah Palin – August 11, 2010

    by Shawn Millerick

There’s only one way the tragic airplane crash in Alaska that ended the life of former-U.S. Senator Ted Stevens could have been better, according to New Hampshire Democratic activist and State Rep. candidate Keith Halloran: If Sarah Palin had been on it.

In a Facebook post, Halloran, who describes himself as “an active local citizen and supporter of NH Governor John Lynch,” said of the plane crash, “Just wish Sarah and Levy were on board.”

Natch Greyes, a staffer for Democratic Rep. and Senate hopeful Paul Hodes tweeted the following on July 21st: “I have to wonder if & or when @sarahpalinusa will learn the meaning of our state motto: “live free or die.”

Behind the Palin Smears – March 11, 2010

Posted by Patrick S. Adams / Townhall

Regardless of whether you agree politically with Sarah Palin, you will find the forthcoming paragraphs simply shocking and eye opening at the same time as I unveil to the world the events and players in a vicious smear campaign that has raged against her since the moment she was chosen by John McCain to run for vice president. That this type of Kafkaesque scenario could even happen in the United States of America should concern anyone of any ideological background who may be considering public life or public office.

Holly Robichaud wrote on The Boston Herald’s blog “Lone Republican:”
Elton is a long-time friend of Pete Rouse, who was Senator Obama’s chief of staff and campaign advisor. (Rouse currently serves in the White House as a Senior Advisor.) According to CNN reports after Governor Sarah Palin was selected for the GOP ticket, the Obama campaign contacted the PSEA Union that represented Trooper Wooten and filed the phony complaint against her.

David Axelrod began working very closely with Anita Dunn, who “advised Tony Knowles in the 2006 Alaska Gubernatorial campaign” according to Conservatives4Palin.com.

Michelle Malkin wrote “Rusty Shackleford — with help from Jane of Armies of Liberation, Stable Hand, the Jawa team, Dan Riehl, Ace of Spades, and Patterico – traced a Palin-bashing YouTube video to a Democrat public relations firm, Winner and Associates, and one of its employees, Ethan S. Winner.” Axelrod is known for his Astroturfing companies. But instead of doing the video in house, he farmed it out. Malkin explained it on Fox News.

We also talked about the fact that even though Sarah was cleared, and democrats Kim Elton, Hollis French, Beth Kerttula, Stephen Branchflower, and others were taken to the wood shed for hiding evidence that cleared Palin, and even used the wrong statute as the basis for their witch hunt, Barack Obama “rewarded” Kim Elton with a make work job at the Department of Interior. A little Chicago style pay-for-play.

Of course, no discussion of this fine group of individuals would be complete without reminding everyone that Pete Rouse, now a Senior White House adviser, basically founded, recruited, and coordinated the Alaska Mafia from his cushy D.C. office. Rouse used Mafia members to continually plant false stories about Sarah Palin in the media, as well as continually file all of those phony ethics complaints against her, complaints that would cost the Alaska tax payers over $2 million to deal with.

The FEC complaint filed against Sarah Palin for the $150,000 worth of clothing bought during the 2008 presidential campaign also was not properly covered by the mainstream media. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) “is the group who filed the clothes complaint against Governor Palin, and, in conjunction with (George) Soros’ many activist organizations, as well as ‘friends’ in the media, kept the story going well past its normal shelf life,” according to Gary P. Jackson. Yes, George Soros was also involved in the smear campaign. Soros continues to fund anti-Palin ads to this day.

Paul Lundahl from San Francisco who owns eMotion Studios and Erik Johnson of The Madera Group formed the team that created The Wasilla Project, a series of documentaries which smeared Sarah Palin during the presidential campaign. One of the documentaries falsely accused Governor Palin of forcing rape victims to pay for their own rape kits.

Karen Allen, a conservative blogger and political activist unearthed the smoking gun, a video which just so happens to be the most damning piece that supports what was already researched and written into this article. Gary P. Jackson posted a link to this video as the “smear-gate” scandal began to unfold after over a year of shoe leather research, research that the mainstream media refused to do. The video explicitly ties the Obama campaign and the Democratic party with Alaskan Democrats and locals who coordinated and organized for the purpose of destroying Sarah Palin. Their most prominent weapon: ethics violation complaints.

AP Turns Heads for Devoting 11 Reporters to Palin Book ‘Fact Check’

“They’re obsessed with trying to discredit her,” said Adrienne Ross, New York state organizer for the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee. “Because she’s a conservative woman, they make fun of her accent, comment about her looks. She doesn’t come in the package they want her to come in.”

The Use and Abuse of Sarah Palin – October 2008

Palin herself is already paying a very high price. Few candidates for high office have ever been so harshly treated in the nation’s corporate news media. Ever since McCain announced she would be his running mate, Palin has been subjected to a steady drumbeat of denunciations and smears delivered with a nastiness not seen since 1964 when conservative GOP presidential candidate Barry Goldwater was depicted as a maniacal right-wing extremist itching to plunge the world into a nuclear holocaust. At the time, CBS news correspondent Daniel Schorr even claimed that Goldwater went to Germany to visit “Hitler’s old stomping ground” and “link up” with right-wingers there.

Today, 40 years later, ABC News tried the same Nazi smear on Palin. ABC’s senior national correspondent Jake Tapper reported that when presidential candidate Pat Buchanan visited Alaska, Palin met him wearing a Buchanan for President pin. Tapper then claimed that Buchanan has a “long history of questionable comments” and quoted radical left Rep. Bob Wexler, D-FL, saying, “Pat Buchanan is a Nazi sympathizer…”

Talk radio host Ed Schultz whose show is broadcast on more than 100 stations, including seven of the 10 largest radio markets, called Palin “an empty pantsuit” who had sparked a “bimbo alert.” Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen called Palin a “sitcom candidate” whose tenure in office would be a “disaster movie.” Former Democrat Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle called Palin “extreme right wing” and claimed she had “absolutely no experience.” Time magazine’s Joe Klein charged the choice showed McCain’s “recklessness,” and a sea of talking heads on TV complained of Palin’s alleged “inexperience” in foreign affairs, an objection they never raised when in 2004 presidential hopeful John Kerry named former ambulance-chasing prettyboy attorney and political neophyte John Edwards as his running mate.

News organizations even stooped to outright lies. Andrew Sullivan of the Atlantic questioned whether Palin’s fifth child was really hers, suggesting the baby was her daughter’s, and that the governor had engaged in a bizarre public deception by pretending to be pregnant. ABC News, Time, Associated Press, United Press International and other major corporate news operations portrayed Palin as some sort of nightmarish “religious extremist” by lying about her support for the Iraq war. They falsely claimed she had referred to the conflict as “a task from God,” a quote taken out of context and deceitfully replayed relentlessly.

Because she jumbles up so many cultural categories, because she is a feminist not in the Yale Gender Studies sense but the How Do I Reload This Thang way, because she is a woman who in style, history, moxie and femininity is exactly like a normal American feminist and not an Abstract Theory feminist; because she wears makeup and heels and eats mooseburgers and is Alaska Tough, as Time magazine put it; because she is conservative, and pro-2nd Amendment and pro-life; and because conservatives can smell this sort of thing — who is really one of them and who is not — and will fight to the death for one of their beleaguered own; because of all of this she is a real and present danger to the American left, and to the Obama candidacy. She could become a transformative political presence. So they are going to have to kill her, and kill her quick. And it’s going to be brutal. It’s already getting there.

of course the left will not stand up to this nonsense. I saw it against Hillary, the media participated in it (Keithy oberlpervert : “Take Hillary out to the woodshed and only 1 person comes out”).
If I had not seen it against Hillary, I never would have understood just how bad it was against Sarah Palin.

The only advise I can give is, keep showing the people how the party of women actually treats women, spread that information, because people need to know about this and people in the Obot media sure as hell will not be covering it.

I used to see the conservatives as the racist, women-hating party/group, now after seeing how they speak of Col. Allen West, Sarah Palin, and all the other minorities, the double standard is so glaring, it cannot be dismissed. The undemocratic party is not the party of minorites, they happen to the racists, and women-hating group/party and are never called out for it.

Have they called her the “c-word” yet?

I guess the New Civility has expired. Speaking of which, by now it should be clear that EVERY aspect of liberal expression is a mirage that only exists to advance the agenda of their internal worldview. The ‘reality’ of liberalism is inside their minds. Their world is instantly and continually malleable, and subject to the passion of the moment, what is considered fashionable and what is out of favor. The real world is just accommodated, even as it is reviled and resisted. However, the experiences, facts and laws of the real world are useful to liberals only as they provide the bricks and sticks that are useful to construct and maintain the internal liberal reality.

So, we have the horrible attempt to murder Gabrielle Giffords and how do liberals react to it as a group? They quickly grasp the event as a very powerful tool, under the cover of calling for a new civility in political discourse, to suppress and silence conservatives. However, the instant that liberals find it inhibits their ability to advance their agenda, like in Wisconsin, it is quickly forgotten. Well it is not “forgotten”. It only appears that way. In reality, it is repudiated as liberals quickly adopt the a new standard for getting their message across: death threats and thuggery.

But never fear, should it become useful to bash a conservative who is foolish enough to also adopt this new standard, then liberals will suddenly discover another new civility that scolds anyone who is not for peace and love. That is, until peace and love get in the way again.

Yes, there are. Roughly 50% of our population, I’m sorry to say. We are approaching the a flash point in America in my opinion. Many times, I find myself in a crowd and realize that I am surrounded with people who are just like Mahr … ignorant, rude, unpatriotic, anti-American, progressive-socialist minded scum, and I must say that it isn’t a pleasant feeling.

I find myself feeling an urge separate myself from people like that. I despise them, and their philosophy, because they do not subscribe to the principles this country was founded on, and they are ruining it for the people that do. I just don’t understand why they think they have a right to change America into what THEY want it to be without considering the rights and wishes of the rest of us, who like it just fine the way it is. My attitude is, if they don’t like America, they should leave, and go somewhere they DO like. Of course, I’m pretty sure they despise me and my way of thinking too, but they need to realize that THEY are the usurpers. People who think like I do see them as a threat to our country and our way of life, and we aren’t going to just give up and let them destroy America without a fight.

We are engaged in a tug-of-war for the direction of the country, and with each tug, people on each side are becoming increasingly passionate. I think the day is coming when Americans will be forced to make a choice between the communism and progressive socialism people like Mahr support, or the free, constitutional republic our founders envisioned. When that day comes, we’re probably looking at a civil war, and it won’t be pretty.

A country simply cannot stand divided like this, and at some point, sides will be chosen, and the matter will be settled with violence and force. I don’t relish that day, but I don’t fear it either, since like most conservatives, I’ve been preparing for it for a long time. I wish there was some way to avoid it, but the philosophy that has infected these people is like a cancer … and it is one that will not cure itself. It will require forceful eradication, or it will destroy it’s host ….

We cannot allow that to happen.

  • Alana

Well, shouldn’t he be on Obama’s case? For (finally) deciding to bomb Libya?

Or is it a smart idea only when liberals think of it?

I truly believe that is the case. They look at who thinks of something, or says something, and if it’s a liberal or leftist, like Obama, then it’s brilliant.

The same thing said by a conservative (and certainly anything ever said by Palin) is, by definition, stupid.

The fact that Palin is actually AHEAD of Obama on this just makes her, you know, more of a stupid twat.

A thing only becomes brilliant, or right, once it is said by a leftist.

It’s truly how they look at the world.

The arrogance of these bastards is what makes me hate them with the blazing white heat of a thousand suns.

Wrong, I can take. Differences of opinion, I can take. But this sort of thing is what makes me their bitter enemy till my dying day.

You’ve put into words exactly how I feel. It seems like in the last two years – since the moment of Obama’s win, in fact – these people have been coming out of the woodwork, and they include even lifelong friends of mine who have never behaved so badly before.

I haven’t foresworn them as friends, but I have put this psychological dividing line up that wasn’t ever there before.

It’s like there are all these pod people – and we didn’t know it before. (Or I didn’t, anyway.)

For myself . . . I don’t know how to explain it, but I don’t consider these people (including my friends) to be American before, or my compatriots. I consider them, sadly, the enemy, and that someday it will all come to blows.

Actually there are plenty of liberals who are highly disturbed by the sexist treatment of women in politics regardless of what side they are on. This includes gendered slurs against Palin, Clinton, O’Donnell and a number of others. Some of these liberals are members of the New Agenda, which strongly supported Palin. Please stop fighting straw men and talk about real people. Maher is an ass, his slur was offensive and not particularly funny or clever. I doubt that he will be able to apologize sufficiently to retain any credibility among a number of liberals. You see, lucky for us, our values are our values, not what you tell us they are.

  • Chisum

    Arpap,

I sincerely hope there are as many liberals as you believe that feel as you do. As a conservative I was absolutely appalled by the treatment that Hillary Clinton was subjected to by her own party in 2008. And I have never been a Clinton supporter. She showed real class through it all. Unlike BO and his supporters.

  • BetseyRoss

Guy in Ohio and Alana: This is exactly what has happened to my husband and me. We had friends that were liberal(government workers) and we knew it, but the last election certainly brought out the evil in them. It was sad, but we just had to “let them go”. It was a downer to be around them as they were still angry after the election. I am covinced that they do not “know” what they want except for the government to keep paying and paying them not to work. Most never bothered to save and are dependent on the government for their retirement. and healthcare. They have reached retirement and, by god, they are going to suck the rest of us out of our money! They hate capitalism although that is what is keeping them in the lifestyle to which they have become accostomed. Every last one of them are hateful and fearful that the rest of us are going to wake up and burst their economic bubble. I think they know that it has already happened and it is just a matter of time.

Alana, I wish I could say I haven’t had to swear off any of the people I know who lean to the left, but sadly, I have, family included. I simply cannot sit idly by and ignore the destructive socialist ideologies that some of these people support today, so whenever I hear them spouting them, I feel compelled to challenge them. The problem is, most of them are so obsessed with their agenda that it’s impossible to have a rational discussion, so I usually just end up in a knock down, drag out argument with them, that ends with them thinking they “won”, and me wishing I had never met them….

It doesn’t take more than one or two encounters like that for me to avoid someone entirely. Once I determine that they are inflexible, and have an anti-American ideology, I consider them to be subversives, and hostile to our society and way of life.

It’s a sad day in America when so many people have to feel that way about their friends, neighbors, and family, but it’s a reality we have to face…

Maher is an ass. Always has been. Always will be. He hates women and is a card carrying misogynist. He loves abortion because it takes care of what he considers to be “pesky” little problems. It’s never been about women’s rights with Maher. It’s always been about control…his control. He’s an elitist snob who pushes his own agenda. He offers nothing positive to the liberal agenda. I stopped watching this guy’s show years ago. If you’re a woman and you think this guy supports what you perceive to be your needs in life, your support is misplaced.
