Far left Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill told Chris Wallace today on FOX News Sunday that the Obama $787 billion stimulus, TARP and the auto bailout were “wildly successful.”
McCaskill voted for Stimulus, Obamacare and the monstrous Financial Regulation bill.
She will have a hard time convincing her home state she’s not like Obama.
Claire’s right – The auto bailout was “wildly successful.”
…For the unions.

Wildly successful for the UAW is an understatement; Obama’s justice dept. sidestepped every bankruptcy law on the books to crush bondholders and funnel cash to their union pals.
How about the “institutions” who purchased the IPO stock with (our) taxpayer funded stimulus money? Add an investigation of the auto bailout to the list of Rep. Congress To-Do’s.

Is that what she means by successful? Because she should try running on that record and see how far it gets her.

The bailouts helped who? My financial situation hasn’t changed at all, in fact its worse now. I refinanced my mortgage last year and the bank rep said we should have gotten a lower rate than what was offered except that the Tarp rules let them still use a bankruptsy from 10 years ago against me. Thats right, 10 years ago, so don’t think after 7 you are good. That cost me 1.5 percent on the loan. And we had to resumit all the paperwork even though we were going through the same bank. All we wanted was a lower interest rate, but had to reapply like a new application, all due to the Tarp bailout with the banks.

I worked on a Republican Candidate’s Campaign. I met a gentlemen who was also working for the same candidate. He was a union sheet metal worker. He worked mainly commercial projects. He told me his industry had been hurt with the new banking regulations. He told me the new rules required developers to come up with 40% of the funding of their projects before banks could lend them money. Like he said and I agree no developer has that kind of money in this economy.
The problem is that we have elected a College Professor Wannabe who, along with other College Professor Wannabes and College Professors micromanaging businesses from Washington D.C. that don’t have a clue how the real world operates!
