Do you suppose this will make any headlines?
Anti-American crackpot Julian Assange revealed today in his leaked Wikileak’s documents that US troops did indeed find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Ace reported on this from the Danger Room:
WikiLeaks’ newly-released Iraq war documents reveal, U.S. troops continued to find chemical weapons labs, encounter insurgent specialists in toxins, and uncover weapons of mass destruction…
…In August 2004, for instance, American forces surreptitiously purchased what they believed to be containers of liquid sulfur mustard, a toxic “blister agent” used as a chemical weapon since World War I. The troops tested the liquid, and “reported two positive results for blister.” The chemical was then “triple-sealed and transported to a secure site” outside their base.
Three months later, in northern Iraq, U.S. scouts went to look in on a “chemical weapons” complex. “One of the bunkers has been tampered with,” they write. “The integrity of the seal [around the complex] appears intact, but it seems someone is interesting in trying to get into the bunkers.”
Meanwhile, the second battle of Fallujah was raging in Anbar province. In the southeastern corner of the city, American forces came across a “house with a chemical lab … substances found are similar to ones (in lesser quantities located a previous chemical lab.” The following day, there’s a call in another part of the city for explosive experts to dispose of a “chemical cache.”

not only that, but must reiterate Iraq outsourced it’s WMD programs to other countries (with the help of Russia), Syria & Lybia being 2 of them.. Syria’s Nuclear Facility was hit by Israel a few years back, and of course Gaddafi surrendered his, well, Saddam’s.. but more on that is probably forthcoming..

Finding residual evidence of a program that never existed, is like finding a blood trail where no one was injured.

So why didn’t Bush admin announce it and kept it a secret?

Intersting that these leaks have been out for about 24 hours now, and other than some strategically interesting factoids (like Iranian involvement details), so far I hear a lot of crickets chirping.
Is this yet another leftist horse that didn’t even make it to the first turn?

here’s the thing..
anyone who’s been paying close attention since 9/11 more or less knows the truths contained in those papers/documents, or whatever, especially those of us who kept in touch with Military & Iraqi bloggers from beginning to end, and still..
iow: there’s nothing new being “revealed”, just a matter of how the state controlled media is going to spin (not many liberals will bother to research whatever they’re told the reports state for themselves, and most conservatives already have all along)..
all it is is fodder cover, something to keep US distracted so Obama et
al can go about doing whatever they’re going to do with little notice..

Well, it’s not really a surprise.
A fact which the libs always tend to “ignore” is that the existence of WMDs in Iraq doesn’t come from Bush. It comes from the CIA. And the CIA had confirmation from the British, French and Germans. The German BND confirmed that there were WMDs in Iraq.
But I guess Bush ordered them all to lie, right?

I personnally know of a kurdish male that is here in America. His brother died form a mustard gas attack on his village (WMD) libterds. He drank champagne when Saddam was hanged. The WMD are there yet you turn a blind eye. Just like Juan Williams you do not understand that which you do not witness.
RickS commented:
No. This won’t get even the slightest mention in any mainstream press outlet. It totally destroys the narrative and that can’t be allowed.

true.. but the UN actually upped the
anti on the amounts of all the WMD..
just a wee sample:
March 25, 2003
[Summary
This report addresses Iraq’s missile and UAV programs and their employment of missiles against Coalition forces in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The UN supervised the destruction of a number of Al Samoud 2 missiles, but some of these missiles may be deployed with Iraqi forces. Intelligence sources estimate that Iraq has illegally retained up to 20 Al Hussein SCUD variant missiles and has fired a number of Ababil-100 missiles at coalition targets. Iraq has also been accused of modifying L-29 Czech jet trainers to be used as UAVs to disseminate chemical or biological agents.]
UN Admits Saddam Had WMD
[“He said the Iraqi facilities were dismantled and sent both to Europe and around the Middle East at the rate of about 1,000 tons of metal a month… The Baghdad missile site contained a range of WMD and dual-use components, UN officials said. They included missile components, reactor vessel and fermenters … required for the production of chemical and biological warheads. ‘It raises the question of what happened to the dual-use equipment, where is it now and what is it being used for,’ Perricos’s spokesman, said. ‘You can make all kinds of pharmaceutical and medicinal products with a fermenter. You can also use it to breed anthrax.’”]
i’ll have to take several hours and search my files to see if i can locate some of the many article’s in regards to Iraq’s wmd, but for some reason i highly doubt the web links will still work.. there’s just so much they’ve stealthily removed from the net for public perusal it’s not only a freakin’ sin, but scary as heck.. *sigh*

His name is Mustafer a medical technologist in a hospital. He saw his brother die in this attack.
He was also shaken down by the muzterds when he went home for he had an American passport. It cost him dearly to go home to his brothers funeral. A really good place to come from huh. Better off here without the muzterd ties/ powder is dry.

ps re: Willy @ 5:01 pm #9
please read post #2 & #16 as one..
you see, with Iraq’s wmd programs not only exported but disseminated, it not only would have been impossible to gather up all the evidence per se, but too many countries were involved, which is why Israel bombed Syria’s nuke facility, and Libya’s Qaddafi surrendered Saddam’s wmd.. hopefully most of it was rounded up or safely disposed of..
