Middle School Students Brought on Mosque Field Trip – Bow to Allah (Video)

6th graders from Wellesley, MA middle school were taken on a class trip to a “moderate” mosque in May. The boys and girls were separated and the boys then joined Muslim men in a prayer to Allah. This was a public school field trip to the largest mosque in the Northeast. Teachers did not intervene. Parents were not told.
Americans for Peace and Tolerance released the video.
In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Boston. There, the students were separated by gender and the boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in prayer. Several of the public school boys took part.

What ever happened to the seperation of church and state. If the school system allowed this to happen, then they should allow field trips to a cathlic church, Protestant church, luthern church, Jewish synaguoge, baptist church, and any other church that is an accepted religion. They mosque is using this as public relations and if a Jewish synaguoge can’t do this as well, then the school system is to be sued and the state sued for allowing it to happen.

Certainly bears reminding about the Biblical story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. As a Christian parents, you should be teaching your kids what a dim view God takes of bowing/praying before another god, even as a “go along to get along,” so that when faced with this type of situation, they can “opt out.”
It was clearly optional, but it was also pretty clearly indoctrination. I don’t imaging there are any filed trips to churches or synagogues planned.

When my children go on field trips, the parents must sign a consent form that includes the destination of the trip. Is this not the case for this school system? If it is the case, why did parents sign the consent form? Why would they let their children go to a mosque? My wife and I suffer in order to put our children through private schooling. Unfortunately, lies, deception and the love of money isn’t just with public schools. I would encourage the movement toward school choice, but even then, you have to investigate the organization funding charter schools. Many of them are connected the very far left progressives and the indoctrination will not be much different than what we saw in this video. Homeschooling may be the best road in the future, but there is talk among the home schooling community that Duncan wants to severely curtail that practice. I think this is probably true based on the actions of the Dept. of Education.
What I would like to point out is you can’t leave home without your flip camera. It’s a necessity. This madness is all around us and documentation is the only way to expose this

Anyone who thinks “private school” is the pancea for what ails your kids in public school, you are delusional. The Dept of Ed is dedicated to brainwashing your children and their agendas manage to creep into all facets of curriculum of even the private schools. When you trust others to educate your children, you are rolling the dice to see which divorcee with an axe to gring against men, or which limp-wristed homo, or which zany socialist who eats insects to save the planet from global warming, gets to “teach” your children what America or Amerika is all about. They will be teaching your kids THEIR SLANT on every subject they teach. Their very example works to erase YOUR good example. What is it about the “Establishment clause” that you now don’t understand? The alarm and panic was all on your side, sister. I remember furious harangues about the impending death of the Republic if we should allow one moment of reference to Christianity in a public school because the “Establishment clause” of the First Ammendent would have been violated! Violated by those holding the public trust! Violated in a way that creates chaos and confusion in the classroom! If Christ is mentioned, our public schools instantly would become religious training camps. If a teacher wears a cross around her neck, it is a public “Establishment” of a religion!
If you are ok with prayer in the classroom, bible study groups in the lunchroom, school clubs that stand on principle for the Right to Life and against same sex marriage, and coaches that lead their teams in prayer on Friday night, I’ll be fine with a field trip to a mosque.
Now that you have set the ground rules, don’t be shocked when others try to hold you to them. You ran the smallest particle of religion out of the schools. Now that you’ve done it, you don’t get a do-over for Islam.
