This is the most consistent feature of Obama’s administration. Obama was quick to jump all over the Cambridge Police Department, displaying a deep-held prejudice derived from NOI and New Black Panther hatred of police and specifically, white police.
Obama has brought this toxic hate to the White House and it’s poisoning every government function down the line, the worst of it thru the Justice Department itself.
The United States has the world’s most professional policing. This doesn’t mean perfection, which is impossible, but it’s head and shoulders above other nations’ policing.
The consequence of this blanket condemnation and undermining of local policing across the country will be a LOSS of good people in policing, and by that a loss of public security as law enforcement becomes crony-hire and half-assed idiots who have no business being police. See what Democrat-mis-managed police departments turn into? Look at the lazy looting cops of New Orleans after Katrina. New York City police at 9/11, with less warning and a sudden loss of officers, did no such thing, in a city that is even more ethnically, linguistically and racially diverse than New Orleans.
This isn’t just a local case in Massachusetts, this toxic, racist hatred is being directed against every single police officer and sheriff’s deputy in the state of Arizona. They are already bitterly complaining that the Democrat government officials, in this case, mayor Phil Gordon of Phoenix, are stabbing them in the back by accusing them of being racists because they will be the ones tasked with carrying out SB1070. AZ police are being told flat out that they are targets of the Justice Department if they make one wrong move, speak one wrong word, get trapped by baiters looking to produce a lawsuit when SB1070 goes into effect July 29th. The Obama ADministration is publically pressuring cops into ignoring the law – under the threat of rank, racist-based federal persecution.
Obama is positioning to destroy police trust, and by that public safety. Once local police believe the public doesn’t have their backs, the trust is busted, and is nearly impossible to recover.
The public needs to be vocal and visible in rejecting this incredibly destructive attack on our law enforcement. If they want to see what lawlessness in the absence of good policing looks like, we have to look no more than 50 yards across the US/Mexico border. A de facto stand down of policing in Phoenix, which already has the nation’s highest kidnapping and extortion rates, connected to Mexican criminality, would have immediate and brutal results as competing Mexican organized crime groups would move quickly to grab turf. Public safety in Phoenix would plummet.
US citizens fully expect police to stand between them and killers. The police have implemented all sorts of community training and community relations over the past decades to better serve our communities, but they never get credit for improving.
Obama is poised to absolutely ruin all that, for DECADES, based on raw racial hatred and cynical racial preferences. The problem is, EVERYONE will suffer, no matter what “race.”
