This may help explain why the national unemployment rate went from 4.6 % to 9.7% since she took over as Speaker of the House.
Speaker Pelosi told reporters today:
“Unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs.”

My unemployment check covers my food bill. My income tax debt money would have bought a boat and depleted an inventory causing someone to hire someone to build another. She also has advocated the use of natural gas but absolutely no drilling.

Best argument for term limits is the nonsense that spews from most of our Congresspeople on a daily basis. It really seems that these are people who could not possibly make a living in the real world, but because they could read the prompter and smile big for the camera, we’ve sent them out of our communities (in which they were worthless) and to Congress (in which they are out and out dangerous)
We may be well rid of our village idiots, but just because our communities are better places in which to live for their absence, we have to start looking at the big picture. I am say without hyperbole or sarcasm of any kind, my mechanic would make a better Speaker than Nancy Pelosi. He has common sense, has balanced a budget, hired and fired people, and has had to live within both his personal and business means for years. We would be better off sending random people up there for a few years then allowing morons to become entrenched in power.

I don’t know which is more disturbing, that an allegedly sane, educated person can say these things, or that the vast majority of the media finds it unworthy of mention.
Nancy Pelosi, as near as I can tell, simply spouts whatever fantastical claim she wants at a given time. She cannot be as monumentally stupid as she appears, because she is obviously able to dress herself and find her way to work each morning. I think it goes deeper: she really, truly WANTS more natural gas, but without drilling. Shouldn’t she be able to have it? She has absolutely no plan to reduce unemployment, so shouldn’t it suffice that she WANTS unemployment checks to create jobs? I mean, what do people expect? Results?
She is just a needy child. An extremely dangerous, very powerful child.
