How’s that Hopey-Changey Stuff treating you?

(Misery Index data)
Since his election in 2008, the US economy has shed 4.4 million jobs. That’s worse than Herbert Hoover.
News Alert reported this from Bloomberg Businessweek:
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. shed 2.3 million jobs since February 2009, Obama’s first full month in office. Going back to World War II, that is by far the worst record for any president in his first 17 months, outpacing the job destruction experienced in the early Bush years by more than 800,000 jobs…
For Obama, there is an even worse way to play the data, which might just become fodder for a political ad: From November 2008, the month he was elected, until now, the economy has shed an astonishing 4.4 million jobs. That’s worse than Hoover.

And it’s all done on purpose!

You beat me to it Ginger. Amen on your comment.
Obama in his own mind thinks he’s a success due to his planned distruction of the biggest capitolist country in the world.

I concur that he is the worst president on jobs. I have not worked one single day since Obama has been in office and NO prospects in sight. The guy is a LOSER.

What? The Obamunist doesn’t believe in the private sector? His active attacks on business are throwing us all into unemployment, bankruptcy and hunger?
This is not the change I hoped for.

Pres Bush inherited the bursting of the dotcom bubble. It transpired a couple of quarters before 9/11. 9/11 was tough but we recovered.
mark commented:
Again, this method of counting ignores those unemployed for more than a year. The 9.4 statistic is a snapshot of part of the line. As people move down the conveyor belt of unemployment their picture is taken at that point in time. They are ignored after they pass the counter but the numbers still grow. Think of it like this. Obama counts the oil spill contents as it comes out of the broken pipe but ignores the entire spill volume filling the gulf.

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is racist!

President Bush took us through something much worse than neither Clinton or B.O. had to face . . . 9/11. So many thought it could have been the end for us. We recovered and had some great years after that.
B.O. doesn’t know what he is doing. PERIOD.
Big L commented:
But how do you grow the pie so that businesses will have more business and need employees to handle the increases?
A lot of business is subtle stuff, the way the consumer “feels” plays a part. Also the analysis of the business environment by the owners, for taxes and regulation and ease of hiring play a big part.
I see no light at the end of the tunnel on these things.

The boy and his masters don’t care about “job creation” or sh’t. All they care about is enslaving people and increasing their own wealth and power.

How is was anything other than a fry cook needs to be studied in a laboratory setting.

Depending on where this letter from multiple senators to Obama comes out, it might be getting much worse.
It is believed that Obama is planning an Executive order to blanket “defer action” or blanket amnesty for all illegal aliens.

Bush DID inherit the burst dotcom bubble, and I don’t remember him whining about it … ever.
SHC commented:
Has nothing to do with the residual effects of the Bush years and the fact that the economy crashed as he came into office.
RIGHT.
Bush, on the other hand, had immunity from 9/11 happening over half a year after his inauguration.
Who could have seen THAT coming? Right? Right?
Except for Bush being specifically told in person that 9/11 was going to happen, and him telling the messenger “Good, you’ve covered your ass, now go home.”

Clearly, Obama and his cronies are in way over their head and sending us spiraling towards disaster.
From healthcare, stimulous, back-handed appointments, bribings, the oil spill, foreign affairs, war management, decision making, judicial nominees and appointments, open and transparent policy discussions to anything in-between Obama has failed.
His policies are going to set us back for decades if not move us to a point of no return.
