Nice. Anti-Arizona protesters spray painted “burn this racist city” on Phoenix sidewalks:
Far left Attorney General Eric Holder told ABC today that the Arizona immigration law was not racist.
…Maybe because 60% of voters still support the new law despite the left’s constant attacks against Arizona and the bill.

This is a bit confusing. That reporting was from the first few days after Brewer signed the bill.
About the media mis-reporting. The media is narrow frame focusing on demonstrations at the usual locations: the State Capitol, and implying it’s city-wide when it’s very localized with organized, politically-motivated staging.
Most of AZ 99.99999% is just going about business as usual. There’s nothing to do but for the radicals to scheme about police entrapment concepts until the bill takes effect in July.

Perhaps this is one “crisis” they don’t want to exploit anymore, after seeing the hatred and the violence that they and the media have already initiated, by falsely lying and trying to re-create an image in the people’s minds of the deep south 50 years ago, to the public, and fueling the flames of anger, basically incinuating its us against them. How sad. And this is leadership?
At least I hope Mr. Holders comment is the beginning of toning down the rhetoric the Obama administration is spewing out at the American public. I can only hope, and good for him.

All I can say is that I hope that the police are arresting the ones that are being violent and throwing rocks and make sure that they are here legally. If not, they should just hire a bus and bus them right back across the border and drop them off 100 miles away.
If anyone decides the the above comment is “racist”, so be it. Since I am hispanic myself, the racist comments would not be legitimate in any event.

Fox News shows its “concern troll” identity in the headline, “New concerns over angry reactions”. By framing the event that way, Fox is like all the main media, inviting decent citizens to back off because the bad guys are making noise. It is exactly this, the unwillingness to face dissent, that has lost our country to these thugs. It was a hallmark of George Bush’s administration to not answer dissent ever. That approach lost us all 3 branches of government.

several things-
One- you all know how I feel about the effort. The intent was good, the execution was bad. Already the lawyers that spent months writing this perfect bill are making changes to it and it hasn’t even gone into effect yet. There will be more problems down the road as the police attempt to enforce it as written and get caught up in legal battles. Remember, when it comes to reality, it is not the “criminal justice” system, it is the “legal” system. As I was told years ago by a prosecutor never confuse right and wrong, good or bad, or justice and injustice with the law.
I was also concerned the unintended consequences of the bill, of which were are seeing some of them now. Holder is lying and playing politics. He most definitely sees this law as racist and will wait until some young eager police officer steps on his you know what before filing that poster child civil rights case.

Arizona could solve this tomorrow by making employing illegals a criminal offense and cutting off the money from the state programs. Cut demand, supply dwindles- economics 101

I don’t trust anyone in the Administration as far as I can throw them.

chili palmer is right. We let the enemy define the issues. Support for law enforcement is not racism simply because it has a disproportionate impact on a particular group.

WHat’s Holder supposed to do? It’s Federal Law to the letter. He’s stuck. Probably pissed, but so what?
And really, how “racist” is it if the Left has to manufacture entrapments for the police in order to bring legal challenges against the law?
The law still could be perfect and a cop who is human makes a technical screw up and all hell breaks loose in order to favor one special interest group over all others.
Will they be trying to trap cops arresting say, West AFRicans for being illegal? Think there are zero in AZ? Tax-payer funded USAID used to send lots of West African Muslims, full room and board, 100% tuition paid to U of A in Tucson.
Nope, those people can get shipped out no squeaks from the partisan lawyers because it isn’t about being “brown.”
