First it was Harry Reid, now this…
A new book claims Bill Clinton compared Barack Obama to a servant.

Ben Smith reported on Bubba’s racist remarks from the campaign trail.
I’ve finally gotten my hands on a copy of Game Change, in which John Heliemann and Mark Halperin report:
[A]s Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.
Could you even imagine if a Republican would have said anything like this?
Trent Lott’s 2002 comment about can’t touch this.
Of course, this is not the first time that Bill Clinton was accused of a racist attack against Barack Obama. In the 2008 primary Bubba called Obama’s historic campaign a fairytale which outraged the Obama supporters.
So will the state-run media be able to bury this by Monday?

Clinton is cranky with THE DEGENERATE for the obvious reasons; Obama stole the WH from his wife’s nose. Slick Willy was certainly expecting to have a second, this time much more intensive and succesful free ride in the White Brothel (always under the “Democrat’s” management) with all those INTERNS, while having his lesbonic wife dealing with apparently more pressing and importand issues.

Old One,
I have been telling people for over a year the following…
History teaches that no Totalitarian government gives up power willingly, it has to be pried out of their broken and bleeding hands.
If you think you are going to “vote them out of office” you are a fool. The first thing Obamao did, after issuing an executive order sealing all of his records from his birth certificate to his school records that is, was to take the 2010 census away from the Commerce Dept. and put it in the hands of Rahm Emanuel. The census determines, amongst other things, congressional districts. Combine that with the facts that Holder refuses to prosecute any of the antics of ACORN or the Black Panthers concerning voter fraud and intimidation and the fact that most of the states election officials are Corruptocrats and you get the picture.
No, hun, the only type of “election” we are going be seeing are going to be just like the ones in Venezuela or Nazi Germany.
Male Silverback commented:
Yes, he is correct in the sense that Obama being so junior in the Senate that he would be below their level. Obama is a greenhorn who can utter eloquent platitudes. That alone was qualification enough for his election.

Let’s not just pick on the husband of the current Secretary of State or the current Senate Majority Leader. Obama’s own Vice President expressed a similar opinion in February of 2007.
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Biden said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Later Joe backed down, saying, telling the lap dog media that it was just an expression his mother used.
“Barack Obama is probably the most exciting candidate that the Democratic or Republican Party has produced at least since I’ve been around, and he’s fresh. He’s new. He’s smart. He’s insightful. And I really regret that some have taken totally out of context my use of the world ‘clean.’”
[sarcasm off]
So many prominent democrats seemed to have been taken so out of context about their apparently racist statements.
My mother has a saying, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

One of clinton’s mentors was a notorious racist (back in Arkansas). But I really think clinton was referring to obama being such a lightweight. After reading the stuff about Edwards, looking back at the clinton years, and now seeing the media’s treatment of obama…..when is someone going to write about our rogue press giving us very incompetent presidents? I’d pay money to read that book….expose the press for what it is….and I shudder to think about it.

And now that I think of it, for years the rumor mills said there was great rivalry between the kennedy and clinton camps, before obama. And considering how the women in this country considered kennedy to be their champion (bimbos comes to mind)I’m sure the black community is just as deluded about the kennedy’s being their savior……the kennedys always had complete contempt for women and african americans, but found them useful dupes.

I suspect that Clinton was indeed simply alluding to Obama’s incredible lack of qualifications for the office of President — i.e., if people had been evaluating Obama on how his actual experience prepared him for a job, he would seem more fit for a position at Starbucks than the position of leader of the free world.
That said, if Kennedy was in fact incensed at this statement of Clinton’s, I suspect he was outraged that someone he considered a slick hick from Arkansas would dare to class himself with a member of the royal family of America much more than he was offended by any seeming disparagement of Obama’s fitness for the office.

The far bigger story in my opinion is the blatant double standard applied according to whoever it is that says such a statement.

Racism is used as a crude political club to beat conservatives and Republicans. If Reid does not have to step down as Trent Lott did, if black leaders do not denounce this, if Sharpton and Jackson do not bloviate on this, then the whole concept is exposed for the sham that it is.

everyone should know by now that’s a given..
what should be making historic headlines is the
question, When will Obama speak the TRUTH?
and don’t think for one minute the following has nothing to do with it..
there is a method to Obama’s madness.. and he will plow unscathed through anyone and/or anything that stands in the way of his social construct via inciting incremental economic, racial, religious, etc waves of chaos..
Universal Voter Registration
[Universal voter registration will create massive vulnerabilities to systemic voter fraud nationwide, and if Democrats have proven anything in recent years, it is that they can win elections that way. The George-Soros-funded Secretary of State project (SOS) was designed to take advantage of such vulnerabilities and may have been developed in anticipation of the universal voter registration plan. Al Franken's stolen election in Minnesota was a trial run for the SOS project. Longtime ACORN friend Mark Ritchie was elected Minnesota Secretary of State in 2006 with Soros's SOS and ACORN money, and what followed in Norm Coleman's Senate runoff election was a frighening demonstration of just how far Democrats will go to win. Franken won the runoff and the Democrats got their filibuster-proof sixty vote Senate majority.
The Motor Voter law was correctly identified as a facilitator of vote fraud. One of the few legal issues Barack Obama actually participated in as a lawyer was a 1995 suit against the State of Illinois, which he brought on behalf of ACORN. Then Republican Governor Jim Edgars saw the newly passed Motor Voter act as creating the potential for massive vote fraud and refused to implement it. With the assistance of the Clinton Justice Department, Obama's legal team won that suit. Obama himself actually participated very little, a strategy that seems to have served him well in life. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, after identifying himself in court proceedings, Obama sat back and let "the heavy-hitters at the Justice Department make the arguments..."
It is not surprising that the Democrats are now choosing to push this
new initiative, for universal voter registration will be Motor Voter on turbochargers. And who better to sign it into law than the President
from ACORN.]

I beg to differ. Trent’s statement was much worse.
Disclaimer.I haven’t voted for a Democrat Party Presidential candidate since 1976. I will die before I cast another vote for a Democrat at the national level.
Trent Lott was saying that things would have been a lot better if Dixiecrat Strom had had his way back in 1948 and back in 1964, for that matter. Which is a bunch of hooey. Only a damned idiot would make such a statement. Back then Strom wanted to keep Jim Crow.
My interpretation about Clinton’s coffee remark was that he was saying that ∅bama several years back was just a lackey. Which is an accurate description of a state legislator compared to a former President. I would give Clinton a pass.
I agree that had a Republican made such a statement, the MSM and the Demos would have been all over the statement, “racist..blah blah blah.”
In only wish that while I would not play the race card on Clinton for that remark, that the other side would stop incessantly playing the race card for statements much more innocuous than Clinton’s. I am disgusted the way the race card gets played on those who merely disagree with ∅bama . I would like to have a national moratorium on the race card. The race card should die a quick death.

The Racist History of the Democratic Party
[Most people are either a Democrat by design, or a Democrat by deception. That is either they were well aware the racist history of the Democrat Party and still chose to be Democrat, or they were deceived into thinking that the Democratic Party is a party that sincerely cared about Black people.
History reveals that every piece of racist legislation that was ever passed and every racist terrorist attack that was ever inflicted on African Americans, was initiated by the members of the Democratic Party. From the formation of the Democratic Party in 1792 to the Civil Rights movement of 1960's, Congressional records show the Democrat Party passed no specific laws to help Blacks, every law that they introduced into Congress was designed to hurt blacks in 1894 Repeal Act. The chronicles of history shows that during the past 160 years the Democratic Party legislated Jim Crows laws, Black Codes and a multitude of other laws at the state and federal level to deny African Americans their rights as citizens.
History reveals that the Republican Party was formed in 1854 to abolish slavery and challenge other racist legislative acts initiated by the Democratic Party.]

bg, you have not informed me of anything that I haven’t already known for quite some time. Yes Obama plays the race card. Yes Senator Byrd was a Klansman who filibustered against the Civil Rights Bill.
I was comparing what Clinton said to what Trent Lott said- because GP brought it up, nothing more. Trent Lott was a bad example to use, IMHO.
I suggest you reread my posting, especially the final sentences.
You do not need to lecture me about the antislavery origins of the Republican Party. A family member died at Harper’s Ferry fighting on the side of John Brown.
IMHO, a better place to fight the race card conundrum is with what Harry Reid recently said, it being that the Senator has played the race card rather recklessly himself.
The problem with fighting the race card conundrum is that the Pope of the Race Card Church, a.k.a. POTUS, can grant indulgences to such sinners as Bill Clinton and Senator Reid, for statements he would never forgive coming out of the mouths of a Republicans.

my apologies (reread it, several times, still got it wrong)..
at any rate, there will always be a double
standard when it comes to the race card..
the Dems always have & will continue to make it appear as if racist remarks made by them are not only not racist in comparison to Republicans remarks (even if they aren’t racist), but acceptable..
and while it may seem obvious to most of us who know history..
the majority of Dem voters only know the history the
Dems have been teaching & preaching for decades..
that also goes for the many supposedly “well educated”..
the fact that so many Blacks are so complicit in perpetuating so much ignorance & so many lies upon their populous.. i cannot fathom how Obama could say “white mans greed” with a straight face..
btw, imo, this is a perfect example of how
they distract US from the issues at hand..
