Dean Michele Bachmann Calls on AG Todd Blanche to Immediately Secure the Safety of Elections in Maricopa County, Arizona Following The Gateway Pundit Report

On October 10th, The Gateway Pundit investigative reporter Brian Lupo published a report that included concerning video The Gateway Pundit revealed concerning video showing two alleged election workers, one carrying a toddler, entering the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC) after hours and inserting a device into a computer allegedly associated with Maricopa County’s balloting system.

Since then, questions and concerns have grown, and, despite claims of transparency from Maricopa officials, none of ’s questions have been answered or even acknowledged thus far.  The Gateway Pundit has requested documents concerning the authorization, certification, and chain of custody for this software and the alleged update several times, including through open records requests submitted by other interested parties.

On Wednesday October 21, The Gateway Pundit investigative reporter Brian Lupo posted a new report from Maricopa County. The report included new video from the election integrity group shows more than one USB being utilized for the “software update.”  The election employee can be seen inserting at least two USB devices into the terminal accessed through the unsecured port blocker.

Following the insertion of the devices, zoomed-in video appears to show Windows Installer being run.  It is also notable that the terminal on which this work is being performed is the only visible unit that seems to have the computer tower under the monitor and accessible to staff when the port blocker is unsecured.

Once the installation was complete, the employee left the building with the USB devices.  It is unclear whether they were stored or disposed of in another part of the building off camera.

Michele Bachmann, former US Representative and current Dean of Robertson School of Government at Regent University.

Following our report from Maricopa County Arizona Michele Bachmann, a former US Representative from Minnesota and current Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University penned a letter to . Dean Bachmann is demanding that AG Blanche immediately secure the safety of elections in Maricopa County Arizona.

You can read the entire open letter to Attorney General Blanche below.

Dear General Blanche,

I respectfully request the US Attorney of the State of Arizona, together with the US Department of Justice Division overseeing safe and secure elections, immediately seek to secure the safety of elections within Maricopa County Arizona.

There is no time to lose.

As reported October 10, 2026 at TheGatewayPundit.com, a video from Maricopa County, AZ shows two alleged election workers entering the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center after voting hours, and inserting a device into a computer allegedly associated with Maricopa County’s election/balloting system.

As reported, these videos were not made publicly available from the Maricopa County 24/7 livestream.

All Americans have the right to a safe and secure election system.

In light of ’s past performance of malfunctioning election machines on election day 2020, these concerns are of the highest priority.

A video taken late evening in October reveals flash drives were used on CERTIFIED equipment ahead of election day, November 3, 2026.

Maricopa County election employees reportedly left the election facility for the day on October 10th, at 6:20 pm, then returned later that evening between 9:08-11:15opm.
Maricopa County has the burden of proof to attest to the authorization, certification, and chain of custody for election machine software.

Maricopa County inadequately produced authorization forms, system log files, nor did they provide proof of what was being loaded into election computers, or whether software was certified prior to installation.

A Gateway Pundit October 21, 2026 article reported a October 7 Maricopa County video showing an alleged election employee inserting more than one USB device into the election terminal, accessed through the unsecured port blocker for the alleged software update.

Arizona elections must comply with federal and state election law.

In light of video evidence and the lack of responsiveness from Maricopa County election offices to the public’s election integrity queries, a temporary restraining order may be required to secure safe and fair elections in Arizona.

All election machines and software should be made secure from tampering either during or after office hours.

If Arizona election officials refuse to immediately secure voting machines and software, or fail to timely answer election integrity questions, federal marshalls may need to to be stationed by Maricopa County voting machines, in light of the unusual catastrophic failure of the machines used in the 2020 election.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Michele Bachmann,
Former member US House of Representatives
