Did Diddy beat his mom?

Executive produced by Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, the documentary series ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’ is causing all the controversy that we expected, and then some more.

Among the many disputed allegations contained in the series, the claim that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs beat his own mother is causing waves across the entertainment industry.

Diddy’s mom, Janice Combs, has come out publicly to deny that her disgraced rapper son ever abused her.

Page Six reported:

“’I am writing this statement to correct some of the lies presented in the Netflix, ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning,’ released on December 2, 2025’, she told Deadline in a statement Saturday. ‘These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life [are] intentionally done to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation’, Janice, 85, added.”

The claims were made by Bad Boy Entertainment co-founder Kirk Burrowes, who said he witnessed Diddy hitting Janice.

“I am requesting that these distortions, falsehoods and misleading statements be publicly retracted. These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life [are] intentionally done to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation,” Janice, 85, added.

[…] Burrowes filed multiple lawsuits against Sean, his mother, Janice, and others, alleging sexual abuse, physical violence, financial fraud and a conspiracy to seize his ownership stake in the Bad Boy company.”
