Just before 5 p.m. PDT Monday in downtown Los Angeles, a black pickup truck pulled up to a crowd of pro-illegal immigration protesters loaded with supplies for the evening’s riot.
Video by Fox Live Now showed the open bed of the pickup was packed with boxes, chief among them UVEX Bionic Face Shields that were distributed to the protesters. The shields retail for around $60 each.
Fox 11 LA reporter Elex Michaelson posted about what he witnessed, “#BREAKING We just saw people arrive in Downtown L.A. with truck loads of Bionic Face Shields that demonstrators quickly grabbed. It certainly seems like gear you’d wear if you’re preparing for conflict with police. Who is funding this?”

The driver wore goggles and a face mask, but inexplicably showed his face and looked directly at the TV camera as he made ready to leave:
