Rudy Giuliani Says Comey’s Call for Trump’s Assassination Raises Red Flags About His Daughter and Son-in-Law Working Under Pam Bondi’s DOJ

Former New York Mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani has sounded the alarm over a “dangerous escalation” by former FBI Director James Comey.

Giuliani claims Comey’s recent actions, including a cryptic social media post interpreted as a call for President Trump’s assassination, raise serious questions about the influence of Comey’s family within the (DOJ) under Attorney General Pam Bondi.

On Thursday, Comey posted a now-deleted Instagram photo showing a “shell formation” on a beach that spelled out “86 47.”

Many, including top Trump administration officials, saw this as a threat to Trump, the 47th president.

The FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and Secret Service launched an immediate investigation, with Secretary Kristi Noem stating that the post was viewed as a “direct threat” to the President’s life.

Comey quickly deleted the post and denied any malicious intent.

Giuliani, a longtime defender of Trump, didn’t hold back in his response.

“James Comey posted a message calling for the [assassination] of the 47th president,” Giuliani wrote.

“This raises serious concerns about his daughter and son-in-law, both employed under Pam Bondi at DOJ,” he added.

Giuliani pointed to Comey’s daughter, Maurene Comey, an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York (SDNY), and her husband, Lucas Issacharoff, an Assistant U.S. Attorney in SDNY, as potential sources of concern.

The Gateway Pundit contributor Joe Hoft previously reported that Jim Comey’s daughter is now on the DOJ’s team against P. Diddy, after being on SDNY’s prosecution teams against Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.

According to Newsweek:

Maurene Comey, an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY), is one of the lead prosecutors in the criminal case against Maxwell, and had been picked to hold a similar role in the case of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein prior to his death in August 2019.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Comey heads the SDNY’s Violent and Organized Crime Unit, and has been with the office since 2015, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The 32-year-old Harvard Law School graduate has been involved in a number of high-profile cases, including against former gynecologist Robert Hadden who is accused of sexually assaulting as many as 70 women during medical appointments.

is ablaze with reactions, with many Trump supporters echoing Giuliani’s concerns.
