Did Jill Biden nudge old Joe secretly under the table to stop him as he spiraled after being asked a question about his cognitive decline?
Joe and Jill Biden appeared on ABC’s “The View” on Thursday in their first joint interview since Biden left office.
The View cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin asked 82-year-old Joe Biden about his cognitive decline and that’s when things went awry.
“Mr. President, since you left office, there have been a number of books that have come out, deeply sourced that claim there was a dramatic decline in your cognitive abilities,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said to Biden.
Joe Biden began rambling on and on as he decried critics. It got so bad that Dr. Jill interjected.
Dr. Jill swooped in as Joe Biden struggled to speak and appeared to give her ailing husband a secret signal because he abruptly stopped speaking and turned toward her.
“They didn’t see how hard Joe worked. He’d get up and put in a full day. It was nonstop,” Dr. Jill said.
