Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker has declared that Republicans “cannot know a moment of peace” under the Trump administration.
According to footage circulating on social media, Ptizker told a group of Democrat activists and donors in New Hampshire on Sunday that he wants to see “mass protests” against the Trump administration.
“It’s time to fight everywhere and all at once,” he said to loud applause from the audience.
“Never before in my life have I called for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption. But I am now.”
“These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace.”
”They need to know understand that we will fight their cruelty with every microphone and megaphone that we have.”
”We must castigate them at the soap box, then punish them at the ballot box.”
According to CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere, Pritzker went on to say that their portraits should be put in museums “reserved for tyrants and traitors.”

The comments are reminiscent of California Congresswoman Maxine Waters under the last Trump administration, who in 2018 riled up a crowd of supporters and urged them to harass members of Trump’s cabinet.
“If you see anybody from [Trump’s] Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere!” she declared at the time.

A billionaire to the Hyatt hotel empire who was previously under investigation for tax fraud, many believe Pritzker is positioning himself for a presidential run in 2028.
So desperate is Pritzker to prove his left-wing credentials, he recently announced punitive measures against the country of El Salvador over the detention of Kilmar Garcia Abrego, a deported MS-13 gangster who was living illegally in Maryland.
