Colombian Marxist Leader Petro Says His US Visa Has Been Revoked – Goes on a Deranged Rant, Calls Trump ‘Donald Duck’

With the exception of full-on dictators like Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro and Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega, Marxist Colombian President Gustavo Petro is probably the most nefarious leader in today’s Latin America.

Now, Petro, always ready to create waves in the press, is saying that the Trump administration has revoked his visa, so ‘he is no longer able to visit the United States’.

New York Post reported:

“Petro, who earlier this year caved to pressure from President Trump to accept deported migrants, made the claim during a Cabinet meeting in Bogota, as he explained why he couldn’t participate in spring meetings hosted by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington, DC.

‘I can no longer go because I believe they took away my visa’, Petro said.”

So far, there has been no official confirmation from the US government about this claim. A State Department spokesperson declined to comment citing the confidentiality of visa records, and an official with the Embassy in Bogotá said that ‘no formal notification of visa revocation’ had been issued.

The Colombian leader has made a point to antagonize US President Donald J. Trump every step of the way.

Petro professes not to care about a US visa, but his deranged response suggests otherwise: “’I didn’t need to have one, but anyway, I’ve already seen Donald Duck several times, so I’ll go see other things’, the Colombian president added, taking a shot at Trump.”

Petro engages in old 70’s-style rhetoric like ‘I survived torture, and I will resist you. Make me fall, President [Trump], and the Americas and humanity will respond’.

In the middle of the diplomatic spat over accepting illegal migrants returned from the US, Petro took a moment to say that ‘Cocaine is no worse than Whisky’ and added: ‘The business could easily be dismantled if they legalize cocaine in the world. It would be sold like wine.’
