GOP Senator Susan Collins, a key ‘swing vote,’ will support and vote to confirm him as Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary.

Last week, the Senate Finance Committee voted 14-13 to advance RFK Jr.’s nomination to a full Senate floor vote.

The Senate is expected to vote to confirm RFK Jr. this week.

Susan Collins, the RINO who voted against President Trump’s other cabinet nominees, such as Pete Hegseth, told CNN she would vote ‘yes’ to confirm RFK Jr.

Per CNN’s Manu Raju: Just asked GOP Sen. Susan Collins, key swing vote, if she plans to support RFK Jr for HHS. She says she does plan to vote for him — a big boost for his confirmation.

She said that Kennedy told her that he would “re-examine” the WH’s NIH cuts and he “seemed to understand the concerns that I was raising about what it would be more very important biomedical research and clinical trials.”

Susan Collins told Manu Raju: “He seemed to understand the concerns that I was raising about what it would mean for more very important ongoing biomedical research, including clinical trials.”

“I personally think that the administration has to follow the court rulings. I would note that President Biden did not do so when it came to the student loan program,” she said, saying the former president set a “very unfortunate precedent,” Collins told CNN when asked about JD Vance’s tweet about federal court orders.
