CNN’s Brian Stelter portrays himself as a media analyst, but more often than not, what he actually does is media defense.
Stelter sees almost everything through the lens of media vs. Trump, and in the case of the shocking new reports about the liberal outlet Politico receiving millions in tax dollars, he had a completely predictable take.
In Stelter’s view, the media is the victim here, because of course.

Stelter is defending Politico because they’re on the same team. Do you think he would be dismissing this story if it was FOX News receiving millions of tax dollars? Not a chance. He would be the first person to call it a scandal and everyone knows it, including Brian.
