President-Elect Trump Hosts New Year’s Eve Gala at Mar-a-Lago — Speaks to Reporters (Video)

President-elect Trump and First Lady to be Melania Trump hosted a New Year’s Eve gala at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, , Tuesday night.

Vice President-elect Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) Trump family members, Elon Musk (with son X) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) were seen among the many guests arriving for the gala.

Trump spoke to reporters on the red carpet, taking questions on several subjects over a few minutes including Speaker Johnson, President Carter and the hostages being held by Hamas.

Trump reiterated his support for Johnson, said he was invited and plans to attend the state funeral for Carter on January 9 and he warned Hamas once again to release the hostages by the time he takes office on January 20. Afterward, Trump briefly addressed supporters inside.
