In a video recorded by a TMZ reporter, Leno is wearing an eye patch and tells the reporter he fell from a 60-foot hill while staying at a hotel.

Leno revealed he was staying at a hotel on a hill and wanted to get to a restaurant at the bottom.

As he walked down the hill, Leno took a tumble and hit his head.

Leno stated, “And then I fell down … rolled down the hill. Hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye.”

Per The Daily Caller:

Jay Leno was seen walking in public wearing an eye patch and stopped to explain that he suffered some injuries after taking a really bad fall.

A video of his bruised face was shared Tuesday by TMZ and Leno took a moment to remove the eye patch to give cameras a close-up of his black eye.

“I was staying at a hotel that was on a hill,” Leno explained to TMZ, as he shared that there was a restaurant he wanted to go to at the bottom. “I didn’t have a car.”

He said he had to walk “about a mile and a half around.” In the moment he thought, “oh, the hill doesn’t look steep, it’s about 60, 70 feet.”

However, the walk proved more difficult than he expected. “And then I fell down … rolled down the hill,” Leno told TMZ. “Hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye.”

In recent years, Leno has faced a series of unfortunate injuries.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, in 2022, Leno was badly burned in a car fire.
