Joe Biden on Tuesday stopped to chat with White House reporters before departing to Queens, New York.
A reporter asked Biden about his decision to end the Covid-19 emergency declarations.
Joe Biden will end all Covid-19 emergencies on May 11.
“An abrupt end to the emergency declarations would create wide-ranging chaos and uncertainty throughout the health care system — for states, for hospitals and doctors’ offices, and, most importantly, for tens of millions of Americans,” the OMB wrote in a Statement of Administration Policy.
The end to Covid emergency declarations also means people will have to pay out of pocket expenses for Covid tests, vaccines and treatments.
“What’s behind your decision to end the COVID emergency?” a reporter asked Biden on Tuesday.
“The COVID emergency will end when the Supreme Court ends it,” Biden said after he grabbed the reporter’s hand.
Huh?
