The House reconvened on Friday as the speaker election continued after McCarthy lost 11 ballots in a row.
Fox News reporter Chad Pergram is reporting that the ‘drama’ over the fight for House Speaker may end today.

McCarthy lost the 12th ballot on Friday, however, he picked up more votes from Republican holdouts.
12th vote:
213 votes for Kevin McCarthy
211 for Hakeem Jeffries

McCarthy picked up 14 GOP holdout votes in the 12th round.
A 13th vote is currently underway.
McCarthy lost the 13th vote.
6 GOP lawmakers voted for Jim Jordan.
Rep Andy Harris who just voted against McCarthy in the 12th vote flipped his vote to McCarthy in the 13th round.

Total vote tally for 13th ballot: McCarthy 214, Democrat Jeffries 212 and GOP Jim Jordan 6
The House voted to adjourn until 10 PM ET tonight.
A 14th vote is expected late Friday evening.
