Adam Schiff Complains About Being Removed From Intel Committee On TikTok – A Chinese Spyware Application

Adam Schiff has spent the entire day complaining to anyone who will listen about being taken off the House Intelligence Committee by new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

At one point today, Schiff took to whining about this on TikTok, which is widely believed to be a form of spyware, which has direct connections to the Chinese Communist Party.

You could not make this up.

In the video below, Schiff says:

“Hello, I’m Congressman Adam Schiff with some troubling news. Today Kevin McCarthy removed me from the Intelligence Committee all for doing my job, for holding Trump accountable and standing up to the extreme MAGA Republicans. We knew it would be bad when Republicans took over but it’s far worse than we expected.”

People on Twitter were quick to note the irony:

TikTok is such a security risk that Josh Hawley is trying to get it banned nationwide.

From Yahoo News:

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley to introduce bill that bans TikTok nationwide

Missouri state Senator Josh Hawley wants to ban TikTok in the U.S. and plans to take action today (Jan. 25), according to his Twitter account. Yesterday (Jan. 24), Hawley said in a statement that he will introduce a new bill forbidding the usage of the popular social media app nationwide.

He also took it to Twitter to voice his concerns about TikTok, claiming that the Beijing-based parent company, ByteDance, which owns the app, invades privacy and causes harm to children.

“China’s backdoor into Americans’ lives,” wrote Hawley. “It threatens our children’s privacy as well as their mental health. Last month, Congress banned it on all government devices. Now I will introduce legislation to ban it nationwide.”

You would think that someone who served on the Intel Committee would know this, but we are talking about Adam Schiff, after all.
