Satire Publication “Babylon Bee” has been Reinstated on Twitter – Musk Says Decision on Trump has not Yet Been Made

Earlier this year, the Babylon Bee has officially drawn the wrath of the Twitter speech police with its latest headline.

The satirical outlet was suspended from Twitter for “hateful conduct” after it crowned Biden’s newly appointed transgender Assistant Health Secretary, Rachel Levine as “Man of the Year.”

The post comes after Levine’s recent appointment as USA Today’s “Woman of the Year,” but it is forbidden to point out reality nowadays.

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon announced in a tweet that he had received notice of Twitter shutting the account down for “hateful conduct.” Somehow, the post was able to remain up for almost four full days after it was posted on March 16th.

Some triggered activists must have seen the post-after-the-fact and spammed the flag button, so Twitter would take action, as they are known to do.

“We’re told our account will be restored in 12 hours, but the countdown won’t begin until we delete the tweet that violates the Twitter Rules,” Dillon tweeted alongside a screenshot of the notification he received.

After Suspending the Satirical Outlet’s main account, The Babylon Bee’s Editor-In-Chief, Kyle Mann, became the latest victim of Twitter’s heavy-handed censorship after he dared make a joke at the tyrannical Big Tech platform’s expense.

Both Mann’s, and the Bee’s, accounts are eligible to be restored after a 12-hour time period has passed, but the clock does not start until the tweets that triggered the suspension have been deleted, which is not going to happen, according to Dillon.

On Friday, Elon Musk announced that the satirical publication had been reinstated along with Jordan Peterson and Kathy Griffin.

“Trump’s decision has not yet been made,” Musk continued.

Already there are calls to reinstate prominent conservative accounts banned by the social media giant.

The video calls for reinstating conservatives: President Donald Trump, The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft, Alex Jones, James O’Keefe, Project Veritas, Steve Bannon, and more.

The decision comes after Musk announced new Twitter policy.

“New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach. Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter. You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet,” Musk wrote.
