Biden got the crowd riled up by vowing to veto legislation coming from a Republican-controlled Congress if it threatens the left’s agenda.
The Republicans are expected to take the House with a slim majority after Tuesday’s midterm elections.
The senate is still a toss up.
Biden said the American people expect the Republicans to work with him.

“I’m prepared to work with Republicans. But the American people have made it clear: they expect Republicans to work with me as well. [..] If republicans try to walk away from the historic commitment we just made to deal with the climate crisis, I will not let that happen,” Biden said.
