The day before Thanksgiving, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, along with Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, deposed Anthony Fauci (head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases [NIAID]) at the National Institutes for Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Mr. Sauer asked Dr. Fauci if he thought that allowing both sides to openly debate their positions on hotly contested issues is important, like the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine or the origins of the COVID-19 virus?
Dr. Fauci responded, “You know, when you say allowed to debate, I think honest debate is important. Fauci used this argument to shut down thousands of voices who opposed his unscientific dogma and totalitarian edicts.
