Committee to Defeat the President Invests More Than $1 Million for Ted Budd
Anti-Biden PAC focuses North Carolina effort on digital ads and GOTV efforts, taking on Cheri Beasley’s left-wing agenda
Alexandria, VA — Today, the Committee to Defeat the President—America’s leading anti-Biden super PAC—announced a major investment in Rep. Ted Budd’s race for Senate in North Carolina. Leading up to Election Day, the Committee will file more than $1 million worth of Independent Expenditures in support of Budd and in opposition to the Biden agenda that is hurting millions of people in the state.
As part of the Committee’s mobilization in North Carolina, it is allocating $900,000 to strategic digital production, targeted placement, and social media advertising, in addition to approximately $250,000 in get-out-the-vote phone calls and text messages. The anti-Biden PAC is playing to its proven strength of turning out historically low propensity registered Republican voters who have strongly supported Donald Trump in the past. Their goal is to create a “red wave” among strong Trump supporters, just as the PAC has successfully delivered in Tennessee and elsewhere.

Due to Budd’s endorsement by and support for Trump and his “America First” agenda, the Committee is proud to support his efforts to take on the radical Left, namely Democratic nominee Cheri Beasley. Not only is Budd’s opponent a firm believer in President Biden’s failed administration, but she also has deep connections to the radical Left, especially the Black Lives Matter and “defund the police” movements. Budd’s candidacy—backed by the Committee—will go a long way in reversing Biden’s many blunders and restoring American greatness on the world stage.
