BREAKING: Killer Shannon Brandt Charged with MURDER of Teen Cayler Ellingson Who He Ran Over for Being Republican

Shannon Brandt, the North Dakota man who killed teenage Cayler Ellingson in a hit-and-run earlier this month was charged with murder in the death of the 18-year-old.

Over a week ago now, 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Shannon Brandt in a politically motivated murder in North Dakota.

The teen was attending a street dance in McHenry, North Dakota.

The killer, Shannon Brandt called 911 after fleeing the accident, telling the dispatcher that Ellingson was part of a “Republican extremist group.”

According to an affidavit, Ellingson called his mom and said he was being chased by Brandt and needed help.

We now know that Ellingson called his mother twice before he was killed.  In his first call, he asked his mother if she knew Brandt.  In the second call, he told his mother he was being chased by Brandt in an SUV.

Cayler Ellingson’s mother rushed to the scene to rescue her son but she was too late.  Brandt had already run over Cayler.

Brandt later confessed to killing 18-year-old Ellingson because of his politics.

The murder of Cayler Ellingson came two weeks after Joe Biden’s demonic speech in Philadelphia where he declared war against Republicans, conservative, patriots and Trump voters.

Shannon Brandt was released on $50,000 bond on Tuesday, just two days after the murder of Cayler Ellingson.

Brandt was charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

On Friday Brandt was charged with murder.
FOX News reported:

Shannon Brandt, the man who is accused of fatally hitting Cayler Ellingson with an SUV, has been charged with murder in the death of the 18-year-old, and new information alleges that the teenager was run over by an SUV.

Brandt, 41, was initially arrested after police say that he fatally hit Ellingson with an SUV during the early morning hours of Sept. 18 after a street dance that took place at a local bar in McHenry, North Dakota. The incident took place at around on Sept. 18, according to court documents, which state that Brandt initially fled the scene and told a 911 operator that Ellingson was part of a “Republican extremist group,” adding that the teenager was calling on others to come “get him.”

He was released from jail on Sept. 20 after posting a $50,000, and wasn’t placed on house arrest or curfew, but couldn’t leave North Dakota or drink.

Ellingson was taken to a local hospital after the incident, but later died.

North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind told Fox News Digital that there’s “no evidence” suggesting that the teenager was part of a “Republican extremist group” or that the incident involved politics.

Foster County State’s Attorney Kara Brinster announced on Friday that Brandt is being charged with murder in addition to duty in an accident involving death. Brinster said that the charge of criminal vehicular homicide has been dismissed because of the new murder charge.
