REPORT: Trump Received Subpoena in Spring For Documents Before FBI Raid, Cooperated with Federal Agents

President Trump received a subpoena for documents in the spring before Biden’s FBI raided Mar-a-Lago this week.

According to John Solomon at Just the News, Trump received a grand jury subpoena for classified documents and fully cooperated with federal agents who showed up to his Florida residence on June 3rd.

John Solomon reported that Trump was cooperative with the federal agents and even added an extra lock to secure the documents in his private storage locker at his Mar-a-Lago residence.

Trump corroborated this report in a post to his Truth Social page.

“In early June, the DOJ and FBI asked my legal representatives to put an extra lock on the door leading to the place where boxes were stored in Mar-a-Lago – We agreed. They were shown the secured area, and the boxes themselves. Then on Monday, without notification or warning, an army of agents broke into Mar-a-Lago, went to the same storage area, and ripped open the lock that they had asked to be installed. A surprise attack, POLITICS, and all the while our Country is going to HELL!” Trump posted to Truth Social.

Trump voluntarily gave the federal agents the requested documents.

Two months later, Biden’s jackbooted thugs showed up to Trump’s residence with machine guns and raided the property.

Trump’s lawyers were forced to wait outside in the sweltering heat as FBI agents rifled through the former president’s belongings.

Just The News reported:

Two months before his Florida home was raided by the FBI, former President Donald Trump secretly received a grand jury subpoena for classified documents belonging to the National Archives, and voluntarily cooperated by turning over responsive evidence, surrendering security surveillance footage and allowing federal agents and a senior Justice Department lawyer to tour his private storage locker, according to a half dozen people familiar with the incident.

While the cooperation was mostly arranged by his lawyers, Trump personally surprised the DOJ National Security Division prosecutor and three FBI agents who came to his Mar-a-Lago compound on June 3, greeting them as they came to pick up a small number of documents compliant with the subpoena, the sources told Just the News, speaking only on condition of anonymity because the visit was covered by grand jury secrecy.

The subpoena requested any remaining documents Trump possessed with any classification markings, even if they involved photos of foreign leaders, correspondence or mementos from his presidency.

Secret Service agents were also present and facilitated the visit, officials said.

Trump signaled his full cooperation, telling the agents and prosecutor, “Look, whatever you need let us know,” according to two eyewitnesses. The federal team was surprised by the president’s invitation and asked for an immediate favor: to see the 6-foot-by-10-foot storage locker where his clothes, shoes, documents and mementos from his presidency were stored at the compound.

Recall, Barack Obama took 30 million pages of White House documents to Chicago in 2009.

“At the end of his presidency, Barack Obama trucked 30 million pages of his administration’s records to Chicago, promising to digitize them and eventually put them online — a move that outraged historians. More than five years after Obama’s presidency ended, the National Archives webpage reveals that zero pages have been digitized and disclosed.” – The New York Post reported.

“What happened to the 30 million pages of documents taken from the White House to Chicago by Barack Hussein Obama? He refused to give them back! What is going on? This act was strongly at odds with NARA. Will they be breaking into Obama’s “mansion” in Martha’s Vineyard?” Trump said on Truth Social on Thursday.
