Mike Pence After FBI Raids Mar-a-Lago: “Calls to Defund the FBI Are Just as Wrong as Calls to Defund the Police” (VIDEO)

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday defended the corrupt FBI after the bureau raided Trump’s Florida residence.

Joe Biden’s FBI descended on Mar-a-Lago last Monday and stole 15 boxes of documents from Trump’s home.

Nearly 3 dozen federal agents showed up to Mar-a-Lago and rummaged through Trump’s residence without allowing any of the former president’s lawyers in the area.

Outraged Americans are calling for the FBI to be overhauled or completely disbanded after years and years of abuse and weaponization.

Mike Pence however defended the corrupt agency during a Q&A after remarks at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ “Politics & Eggs” breakfast.

“Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police,” Pence said on Wednesday.

Mike Pence also said he would consider testifying before the sham January 6 Committee.

Of course it would be unprecedented for a former Vice President to testify to a Committee that isn’t legitimate in the first place.

But here we are.

“If there was an invitation to participate, I would consider it,” Pence said. “But, you heard me mention the Constitution a few times this morning. Under the Constitution, we have three co-equal branches of government, and any invitation to be directed to me, I would have to reflect on the unique role I was serving in as vice president. It would be unprecedented in history for a vice president to be summoned to testify on Capitol Hill. But, as I said, I don’t want to pre-judge, so if there’s ever any formal invitation rendered to us, we would give it due consideration.”
