Anchorage, Alaska – A 15-year-old boy fatally shot three of his siblings before taking his own life on Tuesday.

Alaska State Troopers arrived to the residents just north of Fairbanks Tuesday afternoon and discovered 4 dead children.

The Troopers believe the 15-year-old boy shot his siblings ages 5, 8 and 17 before taking his own life, KTUU reported.

Three other younger siblings in the home were not injured.

The boy used a “family gun” according to a spokesperson for the Alaska State Troopers.

The motive behind the deadly shootings is unknown.
