Drunk tweeting?
Early Saturday morning the Congressional account of Rep. Chuy Garcia (D-IL) tweeted and later deleted a profane response to a critic of his vote on Friday in favor of the Democrats’ assault weapons ban.
Friday night Garcia tweeted, “I just voted to reinstate the assault weapons ban. Now it’s the Senate’s turn to pass it and send it to President Biden’s desk. Weapons of war have no place in our communities or on our streets.”

UPDATE: Garcia also deleted his tweet about his vote for the assault weapons ban.
An anonymous account with the handle Anarcho3D commented, “Never even heard of this guy and I won’t comply even if his silly law passes.”

At 1:19 a.m. EDT Saturday, Garcia’s Congressional account tweeted back, “You are borderline retarded, ya fucking dipshit.”
The tweet was deleted right after the above screen grab was taken at 3:39 a.m. EDT.
Anarcho3D replied, “Did I make the worthless little congressman upset?”

But a screen grab was made of the entire exchange.

As of publication time, Garcia’s Congressional Twitter account has not posted anything since deleting the two tweets.
The assault weapons ban narrowly passed the House Friday on a largely party line vote, 217-213, with support from just two Republicans. That was enough to counter the five Democrats who voted against the ban.
House passes Assault Weapons Ban, 217 to 213.
5 House Dems voted no: Cuellar, Kind, Golden, Schrader and Gonzalez.
2 House Rs voted yes: Fitzpatrick and Jacobs.Bill faces no chance of passing the 50-50 Senate.
