Joe Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm rambled on about “clean energy” goals after gleefully asserting that gas will likely remain above $4/gallon.
“We’re gonna get to this clean energy economy — one hydroelectric project, one solar panel, one wind turbine, one geothermal project, one advanced nuclear reactor, one electric vehicle, one battery at a time,” Granholm said during remarks in Tampa, Florida on Thursday.
“The price of gas is likely to remain above $4/gallon,” she said.
According to AAA, the national average price for regular gasoline climbed more than four cents on Thursday to $4.71 a gallon.
The Biden Regime is purposely causing pain at the pump in order to usher in their Marxist ‘green’ agenda.

Speaking to reporters in Japan last Monday, Joe Biden admitted that the current record gas crisis in America is ALL ON PURPOSE.
“When it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that God willing when it’s over we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels,” Biden said.
