House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi on Saturday night was arrested in Napa County for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested and booked into jail on two counts just before midnight on Saturday night, TMZ reported.
Nancy Pelosi is currently in Rhode Island delivering a commencement speech at Brown University.
Pelosi’s spokesman Drew Hammill released a statement on reports of Paul Pelosi’s arrest: “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
