Bill Clinton had lunch with Joe Biden at the White House on Monday.
The meeting comes as Joe Biden’s poll numbers and approval ratings have cratered.
94% of Americans are upset or concerned with the Democrat Party’s record inflation.
And only 6% of Americans believe the current record inflation is Russia’s fault.
The Personal Consumption Expenditures price index increased by 6.6% for the year ended in March, the Commerce Department reported Friday. It was the highest rate since the period ended January 1982, outpacing the figure from February.
So it’s Bill Clinton to the rescue…
The Washington Post reported:
Former president Bill Clinton had lunch with President Biden at the White House Monday, days after the two crossed paths at the funeral of former secretary of state Madeleine Albright, according to two people familiar with the plans.
“The president is hosting former president Clinton for lunch this afternoon. He’s looking forward to catching up and discussing a range of issues,” a White House official said, after requesting anonymity to discuss the president’s private schedule.
A second person familiar with the meal confirmed that it was taking place.
Though the two men have spoken by phone, this was the first one-on-one in person meeting between the two men since Biden took office, the official said.
