Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday delivered remarks at the University of South Florida to announce funding for cybersecurity education, WFLA reported.
DeSantis told the USF students to take off their masks as he approached lectern.

“You do not have to wear those masks,” DeSantis said. “I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything and we’ve gotta stop with this Covid theater. So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.”
A few students listened to DeSantis and took off their masks.
