White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Friday let her Cosmopolitan elitism show when a reporter called her out for claiming Americans aren’t focused on economic data.
“What is the White House’s big picture view on why so many Americans are pessimistic about the economy and about the direction of the country? Because in other data point is more and more Americans are saying ‘wrong track’ on monthly polling on that key question,” a reporter asked Psaki.

Psaki tried to backtrack: “Well, there may be – there are certainly Americans who look at data, I’m not suggesting that. Many of them work in New York and other places,” Psaki said.
