House Republicans met this morning to vote to remove Liz Cheney from her leadership position.
Cheney was the third-ranking Republican in the House GOP Caucus.
A no-confidence vote came this morning during a closed-door GOP conference meeting, which is set for 9 a.m. ET.
It was a voice vote.
Following the vote to remove Chaney, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) went on with the Bannon War Room to describe what went on in the room before the voice vote to boot Liz Cheney.
According to Gaetz, Rep. Virginia Foxx introduced the resolution to remove Cheney, and “reminded Liz Cheney that a leader with no followers is just a person on a walk.”
Zing!
