Minnesota Police Shooting Victim Daunte Wright a Young Father and Gang-Banger, Pictured with His Gun

Protesters clashed with police officers in Brooklyn Center on Sunday after an officer fatally shot a young black man Dante Wright.

20-year-old Daunte Wright was killed by police in Minneapolis suburb, Brooklyn Center, on Sunday.

Brooklyn Center Police released a statement following the shooting. Wright was shot by police after he reentered his car and took off during a traffic stop.

Dante was pronounced dead after his car crashed a couple of blocks from the scene.

Daunte has several Facebook pages.
His Fammo Gammo Facebook page is still live as of Monday morning at 10:33 AM CT.

Wright is seen flashing gang signs on his Facebook page.

And in at least one photo he is flashing gang signs with a gun next to him.

According to multiple Facebook pages Daunte Wright used over his 20-year life, the Minneapolis resident was born in Chicago and moved to Minnesota when he was young. He said he attended both Edison High School and Blaine High School and studied at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Friends tagged his most recent page, where he used the name Fammo Gamble, after his death. One friend wrote, “@ Fammo Gamble nooooo😭😭😭nooooo I hate this 🥺” Another wrote, “Rip Daunte Wright Fammo Gamble ❤️🙏🏼” He wrote in his Facebook profile, “Hustle now ball later.”

Wright’s aunt wrote on Facebook, “My nephew fly high I love you!!! Black life’s matter. U didn’t deserve this.” A relative wrote, “SAY HIS NAME! DAUNTE WRIGHT! MY GREAT NEPHEW IS NOW FATHERLESS ALL DUE TO AIR FRESHNERS IN HIS FATHER’S WINDOW! Yall POLICE ARE HEARTLESS.”
