Embattled California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) said “right-wing” groups like QAnon supporters and Proud Boys are behind efforts to boot him from office on Tuesday during an appearance on “The View.”
Republicans launched a robust effort to recall Gavin Newsom and gathered more than $2 million of the $1.5 million signatures needed by the March 17 deadline.
According to reports, more than 30% of the people who signed the petition to recall Newsom are Democrats and Independents, but Newsom blamed QAnon.
Newsom told Joy Behar that the “top ten proponents” of the recall effort against him are members of various “right-wing” extremist groups who “supported the insurrection and quite literally, enthusiastically support QAnon conspiracy theories.”
“That’s the origin here,” he said.

Californians are fed up with Newsom’s authoritarian Covid lockdown orders that have destroyed thousands of small businesses.
Governor Newsom was also caught dining at The French Laundry in Napa Valley at $800 per person while telling Californians they couldn’t gather for Thanksgiving.
Crime is up, homelessness has exploded, heat waves and high winds lead to rolling blackouts, illegal aliens are receiving stimulus money and taxes are high all because of policies supported by Newsom and the Democrats in the California swamp, but Newsom is blaming QAnon for the recall efforts.
