JUST IN: Governor Abbott Announces All Businesses in Texas Can Reopen 100%, Ends Statewide Mask Mandate (VIDEO)

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) on Tuesday announced all businesses in the state can reopen 100% and ended the statewide mask mandate.

It’s about time.

“So today, I’m issuing a new executive order that rescinds most of the earlier ,” Abbott said. “Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100%….also, I am ending the statewide mask mandate,” Abbott said from Lubbock.

“Under no circumstance can someone be punished for not wearing a mask,” he said.

“Today’s announcement ensures Texans can tap into their own self reliance to seize the opportunities our state has to offer,” said Abbott as he ended his presser. “God bless the State of Texas.”
